  1. Diggs lined up on Sauce Gardner's side until the final drive from what I could see.  Why would they intentionally do that when they could line Diggs anywhere, and had all Summer to game plan for this?  Somehow Troy Aikman knew that Gardner doesn't follow the #1 WR to the offensive left side or slot, but the game plan didn't move Diggs away from him till the end?  What am I missing here?

  2. The Titans looked bigger, faster, and stronger.  They had a chip on their shoulders from nothing the Bills did, but they took it out on them.

Josh was rattled but still made big plays and kept swinging.  Some huge 3rd down throws that could have been part of a comeback, but the Titans were not making mistakes like the Bills did.

  3. page 259...

If the player has fans that will be outraged we should lower his grade for clicks.  Take the Bills fans for example, they really love football so trolling always pays off there.  Just tell them that some random scrub is better than their guy, then sit back and wait.  Clicks are clicks.

If you guys are not aware I am a black man living in America. I was always taught when a police officer pulls you over, roll all your windows down and keep your hands on the dash and the steering wheel........never reach in your glove compartment for your registration or in your back pocket for your wallet to get your license. When the officer asks for your license and registration you tell the officer.....my license is in my wallet in my back pocket and my registration is in my glove compartment.......is ok if I reach to get my wallet ......is it ok if it’s reach to get my registration. This is something I have to eventually teach my kids when they start driving.........how many people in here were taught this around 15-16 years old?

When I have interactions with the police my 1st intention is to let them know that I'm not a threat.  They have to deal with the worst of our society, people who would like to see them dead.

I didn't know that as a kid, and I had an officer draw his gun on me.  He was a pro, and he set me straight on how to interact with police.

I don't agree with kneeling by NFL players (symbolic), but I love the real work guys like Lorenzo Alexander do for the community (reality).

  5. I would be happy if almost any of the other WGR radio hosts were leaving, but I like Murph.

They could dump the entire line-up except Sal and Murph and I would be fine.

IMO, the young guys that do weekends are not good, to my ears they're just trying to be Schopp clones.

I would have let John do whatever he wanted with the off-season to keep him on the show during the season.

  6. I'll go on record saying he will be a Superbowl winning QB for us.

We should be in the playoffs 'most every year with him, IMV.

I think he's the most exciting player in football.

He's with Barkley running their own rookie minicamp, getting the noobs ready to hit the ground running.

While other NFL kids are running around with guns trying to get $800.00 and a new watch.

    2) A.J. Epenesa, Edge, Buffalo Bills

Drafted No. 54 overall (Round 2).

Epenesa was the 20th overall player on my neutral-fit model, which ranks players independent of landing spot. But put him on the Bills roster ... and yikes for AFC East QBs. Buffalo's defense ranked in the top 10 in all the predictive metrics that I track last year without Epenesa, so the rich get richer. The Iowa edge rusher's 58 QB pressures led the Big Ten last season, per PFF. He could have easily gone in the first round, so to fall to Pick No. 54 and to this team, offers significant value. The Bills' stacked defense should enhance his positives and help mask his still-developing traits. As of right now -- at the end of Day 2 (and admittedly way too early) -- the Bills are my model's AFC East favorite with Epenesa helping to increase that margin of victory.

  8. I got into the music in '98 after my early life fell apart... I was at a real low point and the Dead Europe '72 - 2 disc set pulled me through.

I was never exposed to the music except Touch Of Grey, so I was clueless.  I only had the Europe '72 CD's in my music collection because my girlfriends mom had a garage sale and a bunch of CD's didn't sell.  I pulled it from being thrown away because I was born in '72 and the cover was too cool for the can, but never touched it for a couple years.

One bored and lonely day I picked it up and looked at the song titles.  'It hurts me too' was familiar from Eric Clapton's version on his blues album.  That song was my intro, and I was impressed enough to check the album out.   The rest of the songs changed me forever.  My path into the Dead went through the Europe '72 songs, and something about the bass lines just tickled my brain.  There was blues at the heart of the band, and I was all about the blues.

I would recommend to any new listener to start with Dead '72 and work backwards and then forwards from there.  There's stuff from the 60's that I like better than the 80's and 90's...I may have never been a fan if I would have started with the 80's or 90's version of the band.

The problem with Daboll’s empty formation is that two of the five guys In the formation are DiMarco and Lee Smith. They don’t use a true 5 WR formation, they use it as a way to create a mismatch. They go empty with 21 personnel.

They ran some type of 21 grouping 11% last year.

They did not use a 5 wide set at all, or a 4 wide with a TE.

This offense was mostly 11 (1 back, 1 TE, 3 WR)personnel last year at 60%.  This was the 3rd highest percent in the NFL according to Sharp Football Stats.

  10. Seems to me we should be after a higher catch rate guy.  I could live without a little of the speed for a sharp route runner with excellent hands.

We need one guy who will catch anything thrown his way no matter what size, shape, or speed he comes in.

Win the contested ball, keep the feet in bounds, jump over someone, dive and make the catch, get smashed up but still hold the ball...

Not resigning Josh Norman comes to mind as Carolina's defense regressed from 6th to 26th under McDermott when he left.  That wasn't the sole reason but it's what he could be referencing.  Maybe they try and lock up Tre White this offseason.

That was my thought at the time.  I don't think big money deals like Smith and DiMarco would have been on the top of his list.
