Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
Mod_Squad_Reject replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pissing on the Pats isn’t too smart. Excellent head coach & OC, top 10 qb, eye for talent & cap space. That sound you hear is the Bills window closing on an easy route to an eastern conference championship every year. That’s why not taking care of roster holes when we have Josh in his prime is asinine. Go get Thomas Jr. He’s a good fit for a lot reasons. -

I honestly have no opinion of him, because I don’t have much to go on, and now he’s out (for how long?). Hopefully we get him back soon, he had 2 nice grabs in the NE game, but that’s a pretty small sample. Let’s be honest we have no production from the wideouts and that’s not a winning recipe for anything, plus I think it frustrates Josh to repeatedly look downfield with nowhere to go. i think if you can make a play for a young wr like Thomas Jr, you make a move. Just sayin’. -

Well the two wideouts were 2 for 5 and 22 yards outside of garbage time. Who is that going to beat beside mediocre teams or a team like we saw today without it’s starting qb? Josh will be Josh but outside of Shakir and Kincaid, and Cook running it. that’s it. Teams will load the box to stop Cook and what’s Josh going to do? We need a weapon outside to open things up. -

Are we? Panthers are improving, but lacking starting QB. This is a game we SHOULD win. I’ll reserve judgment until KC. -

Well he better look closer. His wideouts did squat. A combined 2 of 5 for 22 isn’t going to beat or scare anyone good. -

Wideouts 2 catches on 5 targets - 22 yds. This is a liability not going to get it done against better competition. BB please make that Jville call. -

And they never throw to Cook which I don’t get. JA has 1 TE, and a slot. The rest a useless. Get 1 legit wideout in here and see what happens and how things open up. -

From previous games and in this one (can’t see)but it sounds like JA has time but the wr’s and routes aren’t there. Maybe the dude is just frustrated! Last three he def hasn’t been himself. -

2 sacks for 20 yds, 5 yds a pass. Can’t see the game but this doesn’t sound like the wideouts are getting open. Is he holding the ball? JA’s not looking right lately, disgusted with his limited options? I’d be. -

Moore Coleman & RB’s pretty much not involved in passing game. Maybe we should run 6 TE’s? -
Lol some prediction, only one team to beat it’s the weakest conf in the NFL. The bottom two are 1 and 13. I hope they can beat out NE who is just getting the ball rolling.

W🤣W Daboll is awful! Thirty three pts in the 4th?????? 🙄 -
Maye Vrabel McDaniels are stable. Jones delt with inconsistencies that hampered his development. We sure as $hite didn’t look good against them, & I doubt we beat them on the road. Just being honest here, our schedule was weak and it’s about to get a lot tougher and I’m not sure we’re able to correct course with some of our glaring roster deficiencies.

Pats are no joke. Very good coaching staff & now a franchise qb. They’re only getting stronger.

At least we aren’t the Browns ……….
Mod_Squad_Reject replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn’t be too quick to pi$$ on the Browns. They need to figure out the qb situation. in the mean time McD and BB cant figure out how to surround JA with what he needs. So far it’s been wash rinse repeat season to season. -
That’s on Brady his 50 50 “chuck” balls on the sideline usually vs the opposing teams no 1 CB is a dumba$$ play call. Coleman needs to be used differently. He needs quick-hitting passes, and more vertical targets where he can use physical strength and size. Brady’s been a clown in the passing game with just about every wideout we’ve had! He made Diggs look washed. Trading Coleman and bringing in a wr1 isn’t going to do squat until Brady figures out how to scheme a passing game.
