13 Seconds to Mars

Stefon Diggs was a middling #1 WR prior to coming here. Then he came to Buffalo and put up All Pro numbers. Now he’s back to where he started as a middling WR again. Looking back at it, I think people overrated him. He’s a stat padder that never really showed up big in the postseason. The 3 things he had going for him were 1) durability 2) being the best in a group of mediocre WRs (see Stevie Johnson.) SOMEBODY has to get the targets and 3) Having the best QB throwing to him. DJ Moore’s pre-Buffalo numbers are much better than Diggs. He’s never played with a QB close to #17’s caliber. He’s also a more a prototypical WR1 than Diggs and a legitimate downfield threat. Also, he’s not a complete knob unlike Diggs. Pretending Allen and him are best friends never fooled me. You could tell Josh was walking on egg shells which is NOT something the face of your franchise needs to be doing. IDC if he was prime Megatron. Both came out of the gate with great performances. Even if Moore doesn’t put up Diggs numbers, it’s not because he’s not as good. This team just has more offensive talent than they did with Diggs and hence not as many balls to go around.

The Detroit - Saints game was pretty awesome

Well, you still can’t ignore the other. Amazing win, but giving up 31 points in the process still sours it a bit. I’m gonna give Brady the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to new scheme, week 1, etc. I wish we had a weaker opponent than the Lions next week to get the defense right. The first half of the schedule is absolutely brutal. Baptism by fire I guess. The Bills are going to have their fair share of shoot outs. At least the games will be highly entertaining.

Because so much can go wrong especially if you’re the Bills. A blocked FG, fumble, bad call by the refs, etc. Get the points when they’re available and pray your defense can make a stop.

They compliment each other very well. I just feel like a great TE is the unicorn of all skill positions. There are only so many to go around at a given time

The inconsistency is the worst part. Call a game a certain way and stick to it. I’ve exhausted myself on this topic. It’s the same ***** every year.

Was a very UNinspiring debut. I’m going to be an ultra optimist and say it’s just the week 1 effect. The same excuse I gave for Drake Maye. Once isn’t a habit. Now if we go 2-3 games without an improvement then sound the alarm bells. Willing to give Leonhard a few because Detroit (on paper) is an even tougher task.

I am against forking over that much capital for a defensive player. I know MG is a generational talent,but the NFL is a passing league. The only 2 positions id pay that much for is QB or WR. Now he’s injured, they gave up 27 points, and didn’t even win the game. We got just as much production out of Rousseau today and he isn’t paid even a third of what Garrett gets. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve seen these big defensive offseason acquisitions falter too many times. Even if you are a contender, you’re sacrificing your future for 1 guy who may or may not play.

They both compliment each other in the pass game and open up the field for other players. As long as 1 of the 2 are playing I am content, but it would be nice having both for the entire season. I feel like a great TE is crucial. How many rings do Kelce and Gronk have between them?
