He’s a dynamic QB, but relies too much on his athleticism. I think he’ll start to flame out when he loses his elusiveness into his 30s. Receivers won’t be as open as they usually are because of the threat of his scrambling. But that’s really on him. Mike Vick had a career resurgence under Andy Reid when he lost a step because he learned to pass first. With that being said, I think dropping 67 spots is overkill. He’s still a top 10 QB. John Harbaugh’s post-season coaching was just as horrendous as McDermott’s, but on the offensive side. He’s never had an elite boundary WR either. I am very intrigued to see what Lamar can do with a better coaching staff. It’s almost like Harbaugh purposely threw games. How many times has he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Buffalo alone?

TB isn’t perfect, but he’s a fast/rangy backer that has made some very big plays in his tenure. The only issue are his injuries and I feel like his run defense isn’t as bad as fans make it out to be. Can’t wait to see what he does in Leonhard’s superior defense.

It definitely wasn’t a surprise to Kentucky fans and Bills fans heavy into college football. The most hyped WR before he played a down other than Da’Rick Rodgers. Then he started dominating in Training Camp and that made me put my antennaes up. The rest is history. Stevie popularized Bills Mafia and made Buffalo cool again. Such an unconventional receiver.

Add in every Williams as well just to throw them off even more !

Still an insane display of athletic prowess to witness live. It was so on-par with that Bills era like a live metaphor in front of your face. I will probably be severely downvoted, but I would’ve loved to have witnessed “Wide Right.” It’s the hope that suckered me into it all. Almost there . Edit: one of my favorite NFL photographs of all time is that Kevin Dyson tackle at the 1 yard before losing to the Kurt Warner-led Rams. It’s beautiful to me the resilience of some sports fans and teams.

I always confuse Shaq Thompson with Shaq Lawson. Both played for the Carolina Bills and have similar sounding names.

I was one of those hopeful fans about McDermott even when his game time gaffes became more extreme. All I knew was the drought, McDermott was the savior that lifted us out of it. He took a rag tag group of guys that were no where near the most talented drought era team and took them to the playoffs. (If I hear one more fan say Andy Dalton got us in I will flip a table. Game had the same level of importance as any other non-divisional game, it just happened in the final week which made it so dramatic) Failed miserable against the Jags, but Bills defense also stifled them as well. It was clear this guy just needed his QB. And then you know the rest. I wanted him to succeed so badly that I invested myself personally. I will never do that again with a coach until he brings one back. Not Brady, not anyone. Like that one “the Who” song goes.

Holy cow!! We have to get to the bottom of this. It’s my new Bills rabbit hole for the offseason.

And that would be fine with me if they could actually build a solid & consistent defense to give Josh for the playoffs. I’m almost thinking they’re better off investing in nothing but offense and hoping to win a ton of shoot outs. The results would be the same on defense at least. Can’t really get any worse IMO

Millennial as well. My all time favorite player was Terrence McGee. Had he been on the Cowboys, he would’ve been a household name. Very good corner and elite return man. The tandem of McGee on KR and Roscoe Parrish returning punts was crazy. Forget the fact that he didn’t score. This is one of the sickest returns I’ve ever seen. I know every Bills fan has seen it, but this is what I show other fans if they don’t know.

McDermott is the Bill Bellichick of the regular season. His defense goes from a top 5 unit to historically bad once the heat starts. That first run we had against the carcass of Phillip Rivers and then Baltimore had me so confident that we would win 1 in the next couple years. I figured the first AFCC loss to KC was just a learning curve like Jordan losing to the Pistons earlier in his career. Too bad it became a trend.

I completely agree. The song has nothing to do with football. I’m pretty sure it’s about a guys girlfriend cheating on him. Mr Brightside is a good example of why melody is so much more important than lyrics. A guy could write a ballad about toilet paper and people would listen if it’s got a catchy chorus. Back to the original post… I hate it and it needs to go. Play that ridiculous song when they win the SB, not a regular season game. How did it end up like this?

Epenesa was streaky. He had some memorable moments like knocking the ***** out of Tua. He also has 4 interceptions. He’s a heads up player and I hope he thrives in Philly. A lot of people hate on him, but I think he was used incorrectly.
