Plus if im not mistaken there was no 2pt conversions at the time.
Pats needed 2 2pt conversions while the Bills didnt have luxury to even attempt one. 2pt conversions started in 1994. This makes a huge difference thats why the Bills comeback is alot more impressive to me. Those extra pts need more time and possessions .

I predict if Dawkins moves to LG he makes multiple pro bowls and gets the "10 M per year" contract anyways. I would't mind poaching Trent Brown from the pats to allow this move......
Only if Brown gets to wear his Pats jersey during gms . That way the refs give him the Pat treatment . "Holding what holding"?

Sounds like he could be moved to RT or G depending on who we acquire. As in, they won’t look at only the other positions on the line to upgrade. That’s the right idea.
Exactly. This is the main reason Mcd likes position flexibility . Why bring in these types of players if your not gonna look to take advantage when the situation presents itself.

It was slightly improved I suppose and you cited a valid stat to rebut my statement. Doesn't sway my opinion that I don't want to pay a space eating DT who never makes plays 10 mil/year.

shhhhhh. There's no room for facts here when we can use metrics like "the eyeball test" and random conjecture instead! The stat i would like to see is how good was our defense on 3rd or 4th and short. I dont remember us blowing teams up on that play. Espeacilly Star.

While there at it put Daryll Williams and Big Mitch on that flight once free agency opens of course.
Make brief stop in Florida pick up Incog on a 1yr 5mil deal. Wouldn't Incog be a great mentor for Teller. Match made in football heaven.
LT Dawkins
LG Incog
C Big Mitch
RG Glowinski
RT D Will
Now we ready to go to football war. Man i know its unlikely but one can dream.

People love cutting players just to cut players.
If they save a significant amount of money, fine, but here, we don't save THAT much, especially when you consider how much cap space we have. There isn't much of a tangible benefit in cutting them.
Now, if we have some young players that need time on the field, then I am also OK cutting the player. However, this team, before FA and the draft, has neither. Its not like there are some young guys that are loosing snaps.
I really see no benefit of cutting these guys.
Not in this case we all seen the decline of both of these guys. Clay is done and McCoy yea he had a bad oline but there was plenty plays where they made the blocks and couldn't take advantage. McCoy is a shell of himself . He doesn't have that gear anymore to get around the corner or to stop on a dime like he says and go misdirection. We blew an oppurtunity to get at least a 3rd rd pk from the Eagles for him. They were offering up that 3rd that eventually got dealt for Tate.
Its time to move on. This coming yr is a transition yr for us so its the perfect time to draft a TE and RB and also add a Jessie James and a young back like Malcolm Brown . I know these guys dont have the big names people seek but they are very productive players when given a chance to play. At this pt in there careers these guys are cheaper better players then McCoy and Clay.

Im thinking they are still in the playoffs. But I wasnt a fan of the Oline coach or ST coordinator but what did they really have to work with. Robiskie should not have been fired.
Is Scarneccia available ? Is his contract up because i would pay him a $1 less the Mcd to come here. This guy works wonders with underwhelming prospects and they never get called for holding is it him or is it the Refs favoring the Pats?
-
Use the money to add 3 new players to the oline
#1 RT D Williams 5yrs 55mil
#2 C Mitch Morse 4yrs 36mil
#3 trade a 6th for OG Osemele i hear the Raiders will move him this offseason.
RB - Mark Ingram 3yrs 18mil
Wr- John Brown 3yrs 27mil.
Wr Kevin White 1yr 2.5 mil
TE sign Jessie James 3yrs 16mil
DT Grady Jerrett 4yrs 30mil
DT David Irving 1yr 5mil
CB EJ Gaines 2yrs 6.5mil
MLB Sean Lee 1yr 5mil
These signings will add great depth to our team . It fixes the oline and allows us to truly go best available in the draft.

i got a little confused by the op. teams that are plus = underdogs by said points...assuming.
teams minus points= favored by at least...assuming.
anyway here's my predicts...
rams/ dallas rams: 31-27 i think the cowboys d plays em tough, but the rams get the last score of the game and dallas doesn't have time to comeback.
colts / kc colts: 27-24 colts keep kc's offense off the field and luck gets game winning drive.
ne / chargers chargers: 35-31 no field goals for the chargers and their d holds off brady on his last drive.
saints / philly my heart is rooting for foles but, my head says.....well i can't make up my mind so i'm going with the saints with the home field fg.
could be 17-14 or 41-38 idk.
championship games:
colts @ chargers chargers: 30-27 it's gonna be a slugfest with no real home field for la, but they score last. indy's young defense can't quite get it done.
rams @ saints. saints: 34- 21 i believe n.o. has home throughout....so i'm going with the home team. i think the saints will dish out a defensive game plan that the rams ain't ready for.
superbowl : chargers / saints chargers: 38- 34 rivers gets his well deserved ring and an almost assured spot in the hof.
all around great game with rivers the mvp.
I think the NFL will make sure the Chargers dont win this week if its a close gm look for some bullcrap calls. Especially if the Colts win the NFL doesnt want the Chargers playing in that soccor field for AFC Championship. Not gonna happen.

Pick 4.
Cowboys@Rams, Cowboys+7
I listed this one first, it’s the game I like the least as far as betting. Is Gurley healthy? Is not having a true home field advantage going to cost LA? Too many questions, I’m taking the points and the better D.
Eagles@Saints, Eagles+8/ML
Wentz and the Eagles were destroyed on their first visit to NO. I expect a much better effort against a team in NO that may have peaked too soon.
Chargers@Pats, Pats-4
Chargers are coming to the East Coast for the 2nd time in a week and playing a rested Patriots team. LA is missing a few key run stoppers and I expect the Pats will take this game over in the 2nd half. LA will look exhausted by the 4th.
Colts@KC, Colts+5, ML
Colts have a more balanced offense, a better defense, and they are healthier. Berry is out again for KC. Andy Reid’s playoff history is questionable and so is KC’s chances of winning this game. I feel like the Colts are a lock this week.
goodluck gents!
I think with all these gms the flow will be huge. If the Rams and the Cheifs jump out to early leads which i expect i believe there defenses are built to play with leads and those gms can get out of hand quickly.
Rams over Cowboys- 37-20.
Rams jump out to early double digits lead and force Dak to pass . Wade Phillips will throw a ton of zone blitzes at Dak and force him into sacks and turnovers . This gm wont he close.
Chiefs over Colts 38-30 .
Chiefs will come out fast also i can see them scoring quickly there crowd will be a major factor in this gm and Luck will throw some pks. At the end the Colts will keep the game in distance with Luck throwing a couple late TDs but it wont be enough. Andy Reid has paid his dues and the Chiefs will end there 6gm playoff losing streak at home.
Patriots over LAC 24 -23
This gm is the toughest and will be the best of the weekend. I can see it going either way but the Patriots have the experience and home field advantage and i cant see Lynn out coaching Belicheck. Brady will lead a gm winning drive for a FG and the Pats win in the end.
Saints over Eagles 45-24
Yup another blowout. Styles make fights and in this one the Eagles wont have any fight left in them. Eagles have peaked and this is the end of the road for them. The Bears made a huge mistake not attacking the Eagles corners early and often in last weeks gm. The Bears waited till it was to late to take advantage of there mismatches against a weak Eagles secondary . I think Bress and co will not make the same mistake and they will take full advantage . I see this gm being over by halftime . The Saints will score 28 first half pts and take a commanding 28-10 lead at the half. The Saints will destroy the Eagles once again .
Those are my predictions . I hate that i have all home teams winning but i just dont see Dallas or Philly having a chance. The Chargers have the best chance for a upset but i believe the Pats will get the calls and pull this out. The Colts yea they have a chance but there time is coming very soon maybe next yr.

Sign Jessie James he fits what we are looking for . JJ has steadily improved threwout his career. He's also young going into his 2nd contract has nice size 6'7 255 . He can be a real steal on the market ala Poyer/Hyde .
I would target big Jessie from day 1 of free agency . We should also draft a kid pretty high in the draft and while he's developing JJ can start and be a solid part of our offense.

Ill take Hue he's a good to great positional coach. Wr coach why not we got an opening.

The way I look at it, 9-7 I keep them for sure. 8-8 with improvement would probably be fine. Anything less and there's good reason to believe they're not gonna get it done.
But I understand the point regarding Pegula. He seems hellbent on giving them time. That could change if we keep seeing blowouts and little improvement next season. Nothing is set in stone.
It really depends on the plan in 2019 if we spend big and we bust and Allen shows no progression then this admin should be fired.
If the plan is to continue the slow build with a strong developmental plan for these young players and they show progression then McBeane will be retained. Just because we got a ton of cap space it doesnt mean these guys will go out and spend it. Matter of fact i believe they wont even spend half the money they got.

So a one game improvement with the QB in place and this 90 mil in cap space and 10 draft picks I keep hearing about is good enough?
Not for me it isn't. Anything less than 500 will be a huge disappointment and should probably be the end of McBeane.
Im not saying its good enough for me. Im thinking Pegs loves these guys and wants to give them the full oppurtunity to rebuild the team in there image.

Not sure they have 2-3 years.
Need a good season next year. If not, they may both be gone.
I think the question should be is "how much confidence do you have that both will be successful next season?"
Barring a 4-12 season or worse i think they will be bk in 2020. I think there safe with 7 wins at least. 5 or 6 not sure either way.

Didn’t they use the Chiefs pick acquired in the trade ( plus another) to draft Edmunds ? I think that’s why.
I realize that but we did have pk 21 to start with. Now maybe that changes our season in 2017 but who knows. Its not like we didnt have another pk to use to move up for Edmunds anyways. Who knows . Maybe we end up with Leonard in the 2nd rd.

Agreed, but it’s not like it didn’t work out for the Bills either. Some trades can be mutually beneficial. I am of the opinion that Allen is going to be special. He may not be Mahomes special, but will be a top 10 QB. If you add that to a couple of pro bowl caliber defenders (White already is and Edmunds will be) you did well.
My question is why is Edmunds part of this scenario? If we had drafted Mahomes we still pk 21 overall in last yrs draft and we still have Cordy Glenn and Sammy 2nd rd pk. My point is Edmunds could of still been a Bill even if we took Mahomes in 2017.

Now that we got Duke Williams in the fold I want to introduce you guys to Andy Isabella. 5'10 180 pound WR from UMASS who's super productive and has put up the following numbers in the last two seasons
102 receptions
1698 yards
16.6 average
14 Total TD's65 receptions
1020 yards
15.7 average
11 Total TD'sObviously didn't play in a big conference but he torched Georgia for 15 receptions, 208 yards and 2 TD's this year. We run a lot of crossing patterns and with Josh Allen we attack deep more than any other team and per PFF who's the best in the nation at both of those. You put him in the fold with Jones, Foster and now Williams and we're starting to put together an impressive WR group for our young QB and without breaking the bank. He's a Day 2 pick.
Yea our Wr concerns are fixed with the addition of Duke Williams. Lol. Guy runs slower then a freight train. People need to slow down on this addition. Pun intended.

What game where you watching?
Peters was not good in pass protection. He was as dominant as an orange traffic cone.
Philadelphia game planned around the bears pass rush.
I think the better question was what gm u were watching bud? They left him 1 on 1 for the majority of the gm. JP did his job.
Hypothetical: What if Gronk Wanted to Play His Last Season in Buffalo?

Maybe this has something to do with passing him in the draft for Terrel Troup. Wow what a mistake that was.
