Happy for him.
Darnold had a good game yesterday, so maybe that draft class will end up being strong top to bottom.
Um no ... Rosen.

Baker will have his suitors. Jets maybe?

Easily? The guy that ran through the list of Free agent possibilities didn't think that. I think the best they might find is Jimmy G but they are so cash strapped right now I doubt they can get anyone great.

Can NE or NYJ step up to knock MIA out of the playoffs?
No doubt - Fins aren't winning in NE next week. Will come down to the last week.

Really sucks that they didn't....
Mighta been a playoff saving tackle with the Fins traveling to NE next week

Please point to what Wilson has done in the NFL that earns that belief, other than being drafted high? He's been a colassal bust on the field and in the locker room
Patriots hopefully.
Pats, Colts, Titans, Texans, Seattle, Saints, Panthers, Bucs, Commanders - might be a lot of QB turnover and those who don't get one in the draft will be looking.

Because I have faith that he could be a serviceable backup with upside. And if he were to get cut, giving him a 2 year deal wouldn’t be the worst thing on the planet.
id prefer to have Wilson as the backup with upside compared to Keenum
Too many teams out there that will need QBs - someone will give him another shot.

Would've been a great night to take the team to Gibson's but it's closed like all other awesome dining spots.
Who's feeding this crew ?

Early forecast - high 40s - low 50s at game time - 50% chance of rain

No.
The number of Top 5 draft picks who have busted is about a mile long. There is nothing about Zach Wilson (assuming he holds to the current career path) that really stands out to me.
What makes a bust legendary are the behind-the-scene stories of how they destroyed once-promising careers. Jamarcus Russell lying to his coaches about watching film. Ryan Leaf's horrific attitude towards his teammates, the media and fans.
Todd Marinovich and Art Schlichter would be on the Mt Rushmore of busts before Wilson.

Tua played at Alabama in the SEC and he was good there. Zach had one good year against poor competition behind a very good offensive line.
Zach is short. Some QBs can deal with that and still excel. With him it looks like it adds to his difficulty in seeing the field over nfl defensive linemen.. His mechanics are a mess and his accuracy is dreadful. He has no intangibles appeal and is hated by his teammates.I would not say he has all the skills. The mental component in him is entirely lacking. All he has is a live arm, which is good but probably the last thing you should bet the house on when evaluating a college QB.
Probably some organization will think they can turn him around but I'd be skeptical.Zach is 6'2" - same as Aaron Rodgers. Not short - Kyler Murray is short.

Plenty of options for the Jets if they cut Wilson - even Mayfield would be better at this point.

I mean this is the best realistic scenario for him. I doubt he becomes a decent anything in this league. He’s cooked.
He has to pass through Carolina before signing with any other team. League rule.

Hard to believe that Josh may move into the #5 spot all time sometime next season.
Josh will be #3 when it's all said and done and #1 in passing yards. -
7th team for Rosen - fast approaching Fitzy's record of 9 although Fitzy started for all 9.

I was really hoping that McVay could resurrect Baker’s career. It appears, albeit early in his tenure there, that his game is just not NFL caliber.
For a few very brief moments in each game he plays, his game is NFL caliber.

11-3. We are on to (Chicago) Cincinnati. That’s all that matters.
My god people, they weren’t throwing hand grenades, relax. There has never been a football game full of snow where snowballs weren’t thrown. I love the fan police on this board.

Sorry, probably covered in the previous 30 pages but why did McDaniel wait until there were 39 seconds left to use his 2nd timeout ?

I have to eat some crow on Tua. I thought he was a bust but he honestly balled out. At this point it's not a fluke. He can throw down field and is not just a distributor.
I think he relies heavily on Waddle and Hill, but I could once say the same with Allen in regards to Diggs and Beasley. I think he's the second best QB in the division. I am not going to enjoy seeing him twice a year
I'm still taking Josh Allen over him
He doesn't have the arm that Josh has and is not a threat to bust 45 yard runs. He may be the 2nd best QB in the division but that ain't saying much right now.

Certainly not ... just a general comment aimed at the enemy who might be perusing this forum.

Yup, that happened two weeks after his big game against Cincy. He played well against us last week IMO - until the pounding we dealt out.
Fear not Jets fans ... White will back soon enough - like next week after Wilson tanks the Lions game.
