Joe Buscaglia mocked the Bills draft by trying to run a draft as Brandon Beane’s thinking. Here’s who he came up with. Also he did simulate a draft using The Draft Network’s simulator:
You can read all of the analysis and his rationale below:
Round 2 - Kyle Duggar S Lenoir Ryne
Round 3 - Bryan Edwards WR South Carolina
Round 4 - John Simpson OL Clemson
Round 5 - Lamical Perine RB Florida
Round 7 - Charlie Heck OT North Carolina
I don’t know how much I love the picks. He said that Duggar would allow the team to basically be a Nickel defense and could help offset the loss of Lorenzo Alexander.
Instead of drafting Perine, I would rather give up one of the lower picks and trade up to take Zack Moss.
id actually be really happy with that draft. I love Perine! -
I really want one of Dobbins or JT to fall to us at #54 or a WR like Aiyuk or Claypool but I trust Beane and McDermott either way. They’ve earned it.

All the Bills journos are hunting at Jeremy Chinn or Kyle Dugger and they’ve gone out of their way to dismiss the RB at #54 links.
Parrino and Buscaglia especially have been hinting at Dugger the last few days on Twitter and they’re both pretty in tuned with OBD.
Dugger is one of those rare guys who’s raw but he’s also 24. One of the best athletes in the Draft and a violent player. Can play S and LB and will be on the field a lot in dime and nickel packages.
He’s a total gym rat and has high football character so you can see why Beane/McDermott would be enamored with him.

All the love is getting crazy now lol. I don’t know how to deal!
-
He better make a big jump next year
-
And the LA Chargers select Justin Herbert, Quarterback, Oregon.

He’s such a mean bastard lol- 1

I’m thinking about all the times drives stalled last year because McDermott was giving touches to Gore.
Not to mention the few weeks Singletary was out due to injury. Taking Dobbins, Taylor, Akers, Moss with one of our first two picks is great insurance. We still need a lot of talent on offense and Beane said he’s looking for touchdown makers.
McDermott is a conservative coach who values a ground game. Let’s get him another talented youngster and protect our young QB.

More and more I’m thinking Chase Claypool at #54

We’re definitely drafting a RB on Day 2. It’s a huge need and I can’t wait to see who they look at.
Jonathan Taylor is the dream but doubt he lasts until 54. Cam Akers would be fun.

I’m betting he’s a revelation this year. Frazier showed him so much love during TC last year. A year of experience and a year in an NFL weight program I expect him to be a quasi starter.

Our coach looks like Cailou

Love Dobbins, Hall, Bowden & Quarterman. Would be an excellent Draft!
Currently I have it at
2. Cameron Dantzler-CB Miss St
3. Zach Moss-RB Utah
4. Lynn Bowden Jr-WR Kentucky
5. Shaq Quarterman-LB Miami
6. Braden Mann-P Texas A&M
-
Probably won’t be available to us.
-
I’d be very disappointed if his 2020 season looks like 2019. He needs to make another big jump this season.
-
We’re very clearly drafting a CB in the 2nd boys
-
Zach Moss in the 3rd and I’m throwing a party

I’d put us 4th behind Chiefs, Ravens and Titans. Giving the Titans a little bit more respect because they got to the AFC Championship game.
-
I really hope we do! Getting one of Shenault, Reagor or Aiyuk would be amazing
-
Dobbins
Akers
Shenault
Reagor
Aiyuk
Cleveland
Terrell
Arnette

I've got the Ravens at #1, they may have lost in the playoffs but they were the best team in the league last year.
#2 with a bullet is the Bills.
The Super Bowl champs? -
Vernon Butler is going to show out in Buffalo. Change of scenery needed!
I would love the Bills to pair up Perine with Singletary.
