Me either. And that’s concerning. Back in the old AFC East days, the Colts were an absolute embarrassment. So much so that I started feeling a little sorry for them. Then Peyton Manning showed up.

Don’t get too excited folks. Jets are front runners for Trevor Lawrence. Most highly touted prospect since Andrew Luck. Personally, I’m hoping the Jets can scratch out a 5 win season and take themselves out of the running.

Darnold done. Which sucks. Guy can’t catch a break.

Gore seems like a great guy, and no doubt a heckuva player in his day, but anyone else sick of them mentioning his rushing totals like it really matters anymore? It would be different if he was still showing some level of great play instead of the inevitable 12 carries for 25 yards. Guy is holding on by a thread. Idk, kinda cheapens it for me. 🤷‍♂️

What a terrible game. Can’t get myself too excited for Darnold v. Rypien.

Burleson’s takes on GMFB are different/less rosy than those he makes during the CBS halftime show where he’s typically more effusive with his JA praise. Honestly, I really wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s a talk show for entertainment purposes. During just about every segment on GMFB, someone needs to take the alternative view point so there’s actually something to discuss. That’s the format. He likes Josh. A lot. Non issue for me.

Yeah, but our defense over the past 3 years has RARELY given up the deep ball. One of the matchups I’m most interested in is our defensive backfield vs. Mahomes and those playmakers. Don’t underestimate Hyde and Poyer.

If our defense can get right, I think our offense can give them a game.

I like Lamar as a player. I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy.

One thing I’ll say about Mahomes is that the guy is really cerebral. Always alert. Nothing ever seems to rattle him. Always cool. All that talent around him helps, but the dude just keeps making plays.

It’s funny though that you don’t hear much criticism about that massive hole in his game. Granted, the guy is 21-3 as a starter, so people haven’t exploited it enough, but come on. Josh has been roasted since he was drafted for far less.

That’s the answer against the Ravens. Get a lead and make Lamar throw to the boundary. Let’s see if he can do it.

I’d love to, but we don’t have the Cheats stable of backs. Our power guy is on the fritz with a toe ailment and he wasn’t running all that great to begin with. Yeldon had a few nice plays yesterday, but is hardly a feared runner. And for whatever reason, they seem reluctant to give Motor a full work load and seem to be limiting his carries. Our biggest threat on the ground has typically been Josh, and I’m only for him running occasionally/as necessary. Plus he’s been awesome as a passer, so no need to use the feet if the arm can get you there. I’m bigly concerned about the running game and our rush defense. We’re going to have to rely on both at some point. I hope we’re up for the challenge and can get it started this week, but I’m not super optimistic based on what I’ve witnessed early on. It’s early though, so there’s plenty of time to figure it out.

Best believe they’ll try to run Jacobs down our throats after what we showed today. I’m shocked that Star meant that much to our run D. Where are the DTs up front?

Defense is one of the hardest things to keep elite. Glad we’ve switched to an aggressive offense team.
