  1. Agreed. But, I think these guys are so dialed in to prepping for their opponent each week that they don’t have a ton of time to watch a lot of tape on other players. Especially those in another conference that you only have to face once every 4 years. So I’m guessing they may tend to let what they hear in the media influence their initial opinions until they turn on the tape. I’m not saying that’s what’s happening because what the hell do I know. Just a guess.
  2. As absurd as this and his extended comments on the offense were, is this really that far fetched? Being serious, no jerk. In fairness to him, they only have to play the Bills once every 4 years. It’s conceivable they’ve watched zero tape on the Bills and Allen until prepping for this game and he was going off the same old fly-by lazy media driven narrative. Unlike a division or conference game, why would he waste his time watching Bills tape until now?
  3. Simms does his homework and I love how he loves Josh. That said, it bothers me that his show is called “Chris Simms Unbuttoned”, but the logo for the show is of a buttoned shirt. Which is it? 🤷‍♂️
  4. Man...who knew there were so many 49er apologists out there in the media. Guess the Bills shouldn’t even get on the plane.
  5. Yep, definitely could see that. Saints are up there with a healthy Brees. Although, pre-injury, he was looking a little shakier to me this year. Age catches up to us all at some point. As good as their defense is, it may be enough to make up any slight step back from the offense. Another team in the NFC that’s up there for me is the Packers. If the Bills can’t make the Super Bowl, I think a Rodgers vs. Mahomes showdown would be really fun.
  6. Agreed. Honestly, for me, it’s the Chiefs and then everyone else chasing them. Doesn’t mean Chiefs can’t be beat. Just means they’re the best team going right now.
  7. I absolutely think we can beat them, but none of that has to do with how they looked tonight for me. Their D is what’s most concerning to me. The Bud Dupree injury hurts for sure, but they just keep rotating in LBs that produce. Pittsburgh seems to have a good defense every year. No matter who is playing for them. It’s a mentality they seem to have year over year.
  8. This. For those of you underestimating Pittsburgh because of how they looked tonight, remember how out of sorts we looked against Tennessee. We’ll get Pittsburgh’s best effort and we better be ready.
  9. Methinks these Steelers receivers, particularly Diontae Johnson, don’t like the cold.
  10. I understand the sentiment, but we are two back with 5 to play, including a head to head. Not unfathomable to pass them.
  11. Have these receivers ever caught a football? For crying out loud. Two TD passes there. Ebron only one doing him any favors.
  12. Should be permanent. Love these. Especially with the blue unis.
  13. We had a bad stretch there with Milano getting dinged, then his backup Dodson (who was playing well) gets dinged, and then Klein looked like he couldn’t tackle and was wearing cement shoes. Fast forward a few weeks and Klein is playing great. Getting them back improves depth and is a good problem to have. It affords them some time to make the right call on their health by not feeling like they have to rush them back. Also, I hope strengthening our depth and weathering that patch of adversity pays dividends down the line.
  14. I’ll admit that I was harsh on Klein earlier this year. He just looked too slow and missed tackles. With Covid and playing a new position, I underestimated the learning curve he’d need joining a new team. While those first 4 weeks or so were pretty brutal, he’s been playing really great lately in Milano’s absence and has been a big part of the defensive turnaround. I’m happy to be wrong on him.
  15. Like Shanahan, this David Lombardi seems quite sure of himself too. No question the Bills D has been challenged at times this year, but by far better QBs than Mullens (or even Garappolo for that matter). In fact, by some of the best QBs in the league. Now, that doesn’t mean SF won’t win or that coaching doesn’t matter, but come on Lombardi. More often than not it comes down to the Jimmys and the Joes. You need the horses in this league to win consistently. Especially at QB.
  16. Is that Rams defender’s last name really “Fux”? That’s the greatest.
  17. How are KC’s receiving options ALWAYS so wide open. Mahomes is a talent no question, but come on. It’s ridiculous.
  18. Has anyone seen a dumber team? You’re watching two of the dumbest.
