Already getting pretty sick of hearing about Robert Saleh.

I hear a lot of people in the media cackling and mocking the New Jersey Jets right now. And I agree that yesterday was inexcusable, but they should enjoy it while they can. Many here may not remember, but pre-Manning, the Colts were also an embarrassment. To the point where I actually felt sorry for them when we played them one MNF and they couldn’t do anything right. Similarly (and coincidentally), the Colts were a joke again the year Manning was hurt and they got Luck. All I’m saying is that I’m thrilled right now if I’m a Jet fan. All these other folks can laugh it up for another 4 weeks because Lawrence is coming and is the best QB prospect since Luck. He won’t solve the Jets disfunction all on his own, but he’ll be the main piece to help turn it around. Like many of you, as a Bills fan, yesterday wasn’t funny to me. Even though Lawrence is likely inevitable, I’m rooting like hell for the Jets to win a couple games and take them out of the running.

Yeah, I think he lives in LA. Allows him to avoid a cross country trip to Buffalo in December. It’s funny, when they announced he was sitting out some games, I thought our game might be on the short list too. Tirico will be fine. Was just looking forward to Michaels.

Of course not, but that wasn’t my point. Was looking forward to him on the call.

Lame. I like Tirico, but Michaels is SNF. He’s called our games 2x in 20 years. Used to call us all the time back in the day on MNF.

What a turnaround Garrett Bolles has made. Guy was terrible, and borderline bust worthy, up until this year. Good on him.

Thankfully they didn’t challenge and that didn’t count. Even though it would’ve been miraculous by Hill, it spares us all from another “no-look pass” type moment with Mahomes and the media this week. They would’ve tried to make it about him. Guy drops a deuce and it’s the greatest deuce ever.

Oh I hear ya. What you’re saying may very well be the case. But I could see with how busy these guys are if they don’t pay too much attention to mid-season, non-conference opponent until they have to. What with injuries and everything that could change that team’s lineup by the time you get to play them. I don’t really know. His comments seem strange to me too. Just a guess on my part to try to make sense of his comments.

Agreed. But, I think these guys are so dialed in to prepping for their opponent each week that they don’t have a ton of time to watch a lot of tape on other players. Especially those in another conference that you only have to face once every 4 years. So I’m guessing they may tend to let what they hear in the media influence their initial opinions until they turn on the tape. I’m not saying that’s what’s happening because what the hell do I know. Just a guess.

As absurd as this and his extended comments on the offense were, is this really that far fetched? Being serious, no jerk. In fairness to him, they only have to play the Bills once every 4 years. It’s conceivable they’ve watched zero tape on the Bills and Allen until prepping for this game and he was going off the same old fly-by lazy media driven narrative. Unlike a division or conference game, why would he waste his time watching Bills tape until now?

Simms does his homework and I love how he loves Josh. That said, it bothers me that his show is called “Chris Simms Unbuttoned”, but the logo for the show is of a buttoned shirt. Which is it? 🤷‍♂️
