Bills vs Eagles 2.0 game.
In college they always let the other team start with the ball. It's the smart way to play it, always!!

Is Brady a potential head coach candidate that can replace McD next year or in 2025 when he finally gets fired?

I knew our defense in the playoffs was bad, but I didn't realize it was at this level of bad.
These are our DVOA rankings since 2020, which are all above average with 2021 and 2022 being elite.
2020: 11th
2021: 2nd
2022: 1st
2023: 12th
This is EPA allowed in our playoff losses along with the EPA each of these teams posted in other playoff games that same year. I included how that EPA ranked on the season for that team.
Kansas City 2023: vs Buffalo, 11.85 EPA 5th best on the season
Other playoff games that year: Miami EPA 9.58, 7th best
Bengals 2022: vs Buffalo, 22.03 EPA, 3rd best on the season
Other Playoff games that year: KC 4.06 EPA 10th best, Ravens .7 EPA 16th best
Kansas City 2021: vs Buffalo, 32.62 EPA, 3rd best on the season
Other playoff games that year: Steelers 16.09 EPA, 9th best, Bengals 11.28 EPA 12th best
Kansas City 2020: Vs Buffalo, 30.34 1st best on the season
Other playoff games that year: Browns 19.09 EPA 9th best, Tampa Bay: -7.90 EPA 19th best
For context, Kansas City has not had an EPA in the 20's in a playoff game one time since 2020 but they have had 2 games vs us in the 30's. The Bengals have not had a offensive EPA over 10 in any playoff game in the Burrow era but they had one in the 20's against us. It's not just that we underperform, it's that we allow historically excellent performances from these teams with a defense that rates either above average or far above average in the regular season.
So the question come into play, WHY?? Why is the D so bad in the playoffs? What are the coaches and players doing?

When we played KC we were banged up and they had a 2 day rest advantage. If we had played under the old format (6 teams), we would've gotten a BYE and had a big rest advantage.
So my question is which format do you think is better? The 6 team or 7 team?
I personally like the 6 team format better because I feel 2 teams from each conference should get a bye.
It's all about the money for the NFL in having an additional game for each conference.

I think it's time to build a new stadium, oh wait!!!

Honestly, I need to change my expectations of how good this team is and any idea of winning a Super Bowl. Continuing to think we can win it all year after year, when we have never before and we continue to lose in heart breaking fashion year in and year out while expecting a different outcome is the actual definition of insanity. I'm pretty sure I'm sane so my expectations of this organization must be unrealistic even with Josh "Superman" Allen (he can't do it all by himself!
Moving forward, I'm not going to let my expectations ever be Super Bowl winning, but I'm going to root for the Bills but knowing it will come crashing down in the end, until they prove me wrong. Please do it, prove me wrong!!
I'm done shaming myself with this disappointment when I can't control the outcome. So I'll treat their games as entertainment, fun, but expect the usual outcome (season ending loss) since I'm not insane!
I'll try to enjoy the ride in the future but I'm not going to get to high with expectations. Done venting, what are your thoughts in this area? Go bills!

After watching morning coverage, I am astounded as to why everyone is putting the Ravens into the AFC Championship Game in pen as if it's a given. The explosive offense that Stroud provides along with a solid running game with our old friend Singletary should give the Ravens fits.
What say you? I think this game will be a close one and it would not surprise me in the least if the Texans won.
Lamar and the Ravens are the darlings of the NFL this year. Media wants them to win and typically disrespect newcomers until they prove they can win. Kind of reminds me of the Jags team that got to the AFCC game back in 2019 and then lost.

Allen with the blatant fake slide on the long run, then later draws a 15 yard penalty on a late hit on slide where the defender didn't hit his head.....but can you blame him for going for the tackle based on the fake earlier?
The slide is a play intended to protect the QB, not to do what Allen did. That was garbage.
One more post like this and Mods gonna ban!!

That isn't a juke...he's slowing as if to slide...7 yards from nearest defender...then starts running again...how is this a juke? Who is he juking...the guy 7 yards away?
If that were Mahomes you would be saying he didn't fake slide, he juked and you know it. Mahomes is the king of doing it.

Bills need to look back at their playoff game vs Cincinnati last year and mirror their game plan. Mix of straight ahead runs and passes with short and medium routes and hitting the rbs out in the flats. If the weather is as bad as we expect with snow and wind, we need to run routes that allow for run after the catch as well.
Let's see what we've learned from these types of games and use this to our advantage and beat the Steelers down this weekend!! Snow games are the great equalizer but we have the better talent, playmaker and experience.
Curious what others think the Bills will do on Offense vs Pitt?
GO BILLS!!!

Hopefully I can get this in fast enough:
Peterman was FANTASTIC in training camp, preseason, and in practice.
True. He was what we call a practice player!! Like in basketball, he could make every shot in practice and warm up but when the game starts, brick central!!
