  1. I believe each team can only designate two players as June 1st cuts each year. I know that's what it was last year, not sure if there was a change to that. In that event I would see Miller and Diggs as potential guys for it next year.
  2. Weight isn't everything. Jordan Phillips was over 330lbs and got pushed in the run game a lot. If he's 295lbs and can still absorb the blocks so be it.
  3. I would agree less likely unless someone unexpected drops to them. Maybe Sweat at 60 would be good value? I do expect another guy drafted at some point though. Day 3 type.
  4. I have a hunch that after today anyone wanting Dobbins may need to look elsewhere. This fit with Roman being there makes a lot of sense. They have already inked Gus Edwards and look to add.
  5. Yes, in some ways when the discussion of center pops up it reminds me of the MLB debate from last year. The fans had convinced themselves that Beane was bluffing and we would be taking a LB early. Then it never materialized and it turned out the team was pretty set in their mind at the spot Same with Center this year. Trade Bates. Cut Morse. So obviously there's a hole there. But again, I really feel like this was the plan dating back to last year. Bringing in McGovern and Edwards and then getting Edwards snaps as the OL6 guy. I could see them taking a G/C type in later rounds....but I really believe they believe in the OL the way they have it presented. Of course, it also wouldn't shock me if we brought in Brian Allen from the Rams either. Just 28 and played under Kromer. Seems like if center is a question still...that may be where they look.
  6. I think what we have seen with Fields is what we would have seen from Lamar Jackson had the Ravens not brought in Greg Roman and designed an offense around his strengths. The Bears more or less plunked Fields in their offense and even made waves saying they wanted him to play more from the pocket. That's insane with a guy that has Fields skillset. The 2 biggest problems I have with Fields game is that he fumbles way too much and that he still looks like the same passer he was coming out of college. He hasn't really developed yet as a passer. Now, if that's on him or coaching failing to get him to the next steps...I have no idea. But I have suspicion the staff in Chicago was ill equipped to elevate his game. Can Arthur Smith be the one to get the most out of him as a passer? He did have Ryan Tannehill looking serviceable for some time in Tennessee.
  7. I actually like Fields. He's entertaining to watch. He's fantastic for fantasy football. However, real world football...he just doesn't have what it takes to win at the NFL level IMO. Wilson is what he is at this point in his career. I'd compare him to a glorified Tyrod Taylor. He'll be safe with the ball, he's going to make a play here and there but he's not carrying the team to a win. However with their defense and running game they can still make some noise and hopefully take a few games away from Cincinnati, Cleveland and Baltimore.
  8. And that's also playing into why we have been signing quite a few former Washington Commanders over the years. Just this year we grab Toohill and Samuel. Signed Crowder and went after that RB that changed his mind and went back to Washington. Kyle Allen played for both Washington and Carolina. It's a fairly common practice around the league. Heck look at all the former Bills brought in by Daboll for the NYG.
  9. I almost feel like Roman Wilson is a potential Bills draft pick as he's one guy I see almost no one talk about.
  10. If he's still unemployed come June 2nd I wouldn't be shocked to see Beane target Ogbah. The Bills were in on him just 2 years ago before we signed with Miami. And Beane loves to circle back on guys they missed out on prior.
  11. Lots of "my guys" are already mentioned to include the WRs and T'Vondre Sweat. But now here's a guy.... Would like to take a late round pick and see if we can turn Milton into a long term cheap backup plan.
  12. I hear the Jags are trying to book P. Diddy for the National Anthem for opening day.
  13. Yes, he had that game where he was really good as a receiver that helped. But even in the game you mentioned he averages just over 3 yards per carry. I'd point blame to the Patriots OL as well, however he was only slightly worse than the season before with the Cowboys. While you keep pointing out he was the "number 2" and that he didn't start...he still out touched the starter on the season. 235-194 was the final split between Zeke and Stevenson. He wasn't the #2. Is he the best option out there? I hardly think so. He's showed for years those tires are balding out. I also think it's telling that despite Jerry Jones loving him, him loving Dallas and the Cowboys having literally nothing in the RB room Zeke still sits on the open market.
  14. Zeke averaged a whopping 3.5 yards per carry last year. Down a bit from the 3.8 yards per carry he had the year before. And just over 6 yards per reception. I would say the "Zeke is washed" arguments have some merit to them.
  15. I don't want them to be on it, but if they are I would watch. And I would rather they were on the in season one.
