According to Colin Cowherd the Bills "struggled" against the Packers because they were cocky and full of themselves. This is because the the City of Buffalo has never won anything, so we have no self esteem.

Yes Colin, that makes sense. Josh Allen is suddenly too-cocky, Sean McDermott is now shooting his mouth off like Rex Ryan, Von Miller is known for his mouth.

Media loves Stef Diggs, just as long as he doesn't jaw with Jaire Alexander.

This is the same old media. We're happy for little Buffalo, just as long as they don't really win anything.

Drop the Bills to 8th on your little Top 10 list Colin, and talk about how running the ball is the Packers new identity. My gosh.

Let's see if the Bills over-cockiness rubs off this week and we get ambushed by the Jets.

I saw him yesterday pushing this narrative as he interviewed both Joe Thomas and Sean Peyton and both of them werent having it in the least. Basically shutting him down and sayin Buffalo is doing just fine.

Today he says KC would beat Buff on a neutral field and thats why he has them ranked higher. These 2 teams literally just played in Arrowhead no more than 2 weeks ago and the Chiefs lost.... What in the actual F*** is he talking about??!!!

Cowherd was the same way today on his show today too.  But he was dumping all over the Bills today.

Seemed like a dude just reaching for a story and something to nit pick. He had Joe Thomas and Sean Payton on and was totally overreacting to how Buff played in the 2nd half. Neither one of them was having it and said there’s really was nothing to worry about.

Packers have a novel full of bulletin board material. I hate all this coming from the media.

Hopefully the Bills recognize this and get their heads right and come out and match the intensity that the packers will have

For a Primetime game the coverage of the teams has been comically lopsided. Except the team getting the lack of coverage happens to be the vegas favorite to win the super bowl.... its weird man.

All the talk on the defensive side is about Von Miller and rightfully so, he without doubt has brought an extra edge and for this particular game he was the "closer" that we all envisioned and hoped for him to be.

But what is not talked about in my view nearly enough is the pickup of Daquan, Settle and Phillips.   These guys have completely changed the complexity of this defense, we are now one of the best run stuffing teams in the league and as you noted a lot of it is with light boxes.   It allows the defense so much more flexibility to run the sort of nickel base defense that they want to run.

100%. I dont think it can be overstated that the interior OL in KC is universally regarded as the top group in the league.... and they could get nothing going inside. NOTHING.

  5. i really havnt been on here since before the game and i'm not swimming through all 40 pages. So maybe its been mentioned already. But a huge takeaway for me is the Bills being able to stifle run games with light boxes. Thats such a HUGE freaking advantage. All year long we've heard about this dominating interior OL in KC. if you take out Mahomes 4 scrambles on pass plays the chiefs ran 14 times for 57 yards!!! 3.3 a clip.... This team is going to be REALLY hard to beat if they can keep that up.

After a whole season of being labled soft in 2021, the #1 run defense in the nfl now resides in orchard park.... This also should pay large dividends come january when teams have no choice but to run the ball.

Do you really think, if the Bills had the success that the Chiefs have had, that Bills fans would be any better? That there wouldn't be just as many Bills fans who would act like jerks about the team?

To imagine so is, in my opinion laughable.

    ...you're laughable....

For some reason, Mahomes face is looking more and more punchable as the years go by.

I agree. i was happy for him..... little did i know the whole fan base would act like they never had business losing a game for the rest of time...

  8. For me its more the fan base and their reactions to anybody even being compared to their qb or franchise. They conduct themselves like they're in the middle of a dynasty and its just not the case. Try telling one of them that Mahomes isnt all alone way up in his own "god tier" and watch them plug their ears and stomp their feet like a toddler.

I said to my wife on monday night "I never thought i'd ever get as much pleasure out of seeing a man hit the turf like i did brady.... but here i am getting erect anytime Mahomes hits the ground."

..... also the constant gushing over Mahomes underhand shovels..... ITS F****** SHOVEL PASS! WHO CARES IF HE TOSSED IT LIKE A SOFTBALL!!!!????

  9. Ryan Leaf just did a segment/film breakdown on GMFB about how exciting it is to see Allens mental processing truly catching up to his talent. Really cool watch. Hopefully somebody can find it once its available and post it. Said that if he did that segment every week he'd probably pick allen every sinlgle week to breakdown because of what he's doing week in and week out.

Yeah, well, last week you were saying the 14 point spread was too large and it turned out we doubled the spread. So maybe people are sensitive to your criticism because it isn't based in fact?

At least we arent like KC fans.... you dont even have to say anything negative about their team. You could quite literally heap praise on them. But the minutie you hint that maybe their squad/qb arent in a god tier of their own they go completely postal.

    ..... give us time i suppose 😂

I want the win definitely, but what I really would like to see is a total domination by the Bills defense. I'm tired of hearing about the Cowboys and Niners. Give our boys some love!! They're shutting down teams with reserves.

i think a lot of that has to do with us having Allen gobbling up a lot of the praise.... But i have to admit i've been a bit surprised by the lack of national talk surrounding our defense.

Those same individuals apparently do not frequent their message board.  Cretans.

i saw last week, while i was skulking around there in anticipation for this game, they had a 50 page "Are the bills overhyped" thread going on.... shoulda seen a couple of comments when the Hyde news came out. Dudes flat out rooting for it with comments like "good. stay down" and .... "stay down b****"... real classy.

..... also i got a kick out of a season long 50 page bills thread on their front page.... can you say "rent free"????... also i understand theres irony in this comment as i admitted to checking out their board. 😂

I haven't been there, but I have no doubt about this.

I'm very surprised by this.  Nick Wright must be apoplectic over it.  He was railing against Buffalo -14.  This has to be the ultimate insult🙂

he just threw a toddler tantrum on tv about it. Then went on to say a Bills win means nothing because it meant nothing in the long run last year, but a bills loss would be devastating.

Same dude that last week said Allen wasnt even in his top 4 for MVP...... All this after saying all offseason he feared and respected Allen. The dude just cant help himself. I said last week, and i still believe this, he must have realized he's much more marketable when he's railing on the Bills because he's been beating that drum louder and louder with each coming week.

    Great quote from ChiefsPlanet:*

...But man I am very worried that Von Miller is going to rape Orlando Brown Jr.

*Despite their reputation, their fan perceptions roughly mirror this board: respect to the opposing team (esp JA &VM) but with cautious optimism for a win.

i lurked a bit over there earlier today. theres a slight bit of a "this is the bills superbowl" narrative floating around and its honestly sorta dumb. this isnt 2020. This is an early regular season game that MIGHT help or hurt seeding in january. nothing more....

if the bills win i'll be stoked and say "Well this doesnt really mean a ton. We'll see them again in buffalo come january". if we lose i'll be annoyed and say "Well this doesnt really mean a ton. we'll be seeing them in arrowhead come january"...

I'll say one thing. that places tone about the bills has done a 180 since this time last year. I think Allen going into their stadium and man handling them TWICE since then may have a bit to do with that.

Your points 2, 3, 4 and 10 are why KC is the better team and I have a hard time seeing the Bills beating them, especially in a january playoff game in BUF or KC.

Beane has done a great job building depth on the DL, but we still don't have a true Chris Jones type of game wrecker in the middle. Yes Von Miller is still very good but Mahomes has proven he is a master of evading pressure from the edge and it's pressure up the middle that has been a problem for him and most QB's, including the worst game of his career in the SB against the Bucs a few years ago.

Bills offensive line is all about finesse and one of the reasons the Raiders fared well last night and had a chance to win is because they were able to run the ball effectively. I'm still not sure the Bills can do this consistently which will ultimately be their downfall again in the playoffs.

this is pure BS. the Bills average a full 60 more yards of offense per game and allow 13 less points per game on defense. All with a schedule thats been on par with the chiefs. while the chiefs have been barely escaping close games with wins and lost to an awful colts squad. take this crap outta here. Going into arrowhead and taking a win is always a tall task and the bills may very well lose because the Chiefs are a dang good team, but you're talking like a fool.

The amount of double teams Jerry Hughes receives in his career is impressive.

Can somebody smarter than me explain how Von isn’t the top of your third list? I read it as him having the highest win rate in the league.

the last list is removing all blitz and stunts. its just rusher vs blocker straight up.

At the end of the day who really cares as long as they win the game. In my meaningless opinion every uniform combination the Bills have looks great except the all blues and all reds. I would like to see them bring back the blue over white throwbacks. They haven't used them in a while and that also looks good.

agreed. i just had a convo about this with a fellow fan last week.

i get that there are people that do. And i dont truly dislike any of the combo's. but i'd bet money that if you put up a poll it wouldnt make the top 2 combos amongst the masses.... for me its 4th and it aint close to the top 3. regular home/away and all whites.

Yes a great play and a great call.....  All this after Baltimore marched 95 yards and converted two third and long plays.  There are so many plays in a game that can be singled out.

Thankfully Lamar missed open receivers on third & fourth down or this play would have been forgotten.

Important play at an important time.

Barf.... nobody needs this sort of energy on a friday. stop it. its embarrassing.

Yeah, it just jumps out that Von is so almost off-the-chart high in the first chart for (any) pass rush wins - then isn't even in the top 6 of list that excludes blitzes/stunts

Makes sense. He’s a generational talent athletically on the edge. Get him moving in space and good luck.
