The opposite. Kyle being Kyle is cringey. Him getting out of the way and letting me hear Al Pacino perform one of the greatest scenes in sports cinema? Yea. I can get behind that.

Especially after Devin's game sealing run last week was every bit a game of inches. Fight for those inches tomorrow gentlemen, because it will be the difference between winning and losing.

    Kyles awesome. Quit it

So I’m not denying anything that you’re saying, but I also think part of it is people ignore positives and focus on negatives. It’s why every news broadcast starts with a murder/crime/scandal-negatives bring in viewers. There’s been a ton of pro Bills anti Bengals talk this week as well, but we all get more fired up about “how dare the disrespect the Bills” so that’s what we remember. It’s why there’s so many more comments on here that involve Nick Wright than comments that mention Kyle Brandt and Michael Robinson

I mean my Tv in the office literally filters through ESPN, FS1, and The Network all day. For every Kyle Brandt there’s a literally the WHOLE PANEL of “get up” on Thursday morning that picked burrow over Allen and the Bengals to win.

The ONLY negative narrative I’ve seen on the bengals is them missing their OL. The general consensus is that if they had them, they would handle is easily. When burrows struggles last week get brought up they reference last years playoff run as a counter point(even though it was pedestrian as hell).  When Allen’s struggles have gotten brought up his prior 6 playoff games are an afterthought and the top inevitably goes to “can this guy ever play a clean game?”…. It’s honeslty absurd at this point IMO

  3. This game has such a 2020 feel to me. I remember heading into the home game against the “hot” ravens and the narrative the whollllleeee freaking week was “how were the bills gonna stop playoff lamar now that he had his first playoff win under his belt”

Just like this week I remember sitting in my office that whole week as I watched my sports shows listening to the national media wonder how we would ever beat the ravens after we had just escaped a close game the prior week. Just like this week I sat there thinking “wait a minute. Am I missing something or aren’t we the team that’s 14-3 and on a half a season win streak?”

I legit can’t ever remember a more negative media narrative surrounding a 14-3 squad that’s in the midst of an 8 game win streak. Allen has ONE turnover riddled playoff game and now all of a sudden the prior 6 go out the window. The topics aren’t IF he’ll turn it over but HOW MANY will he inevitably give away. It’s absolutely absurd.

How will the Bills be able to overcome the coolness of Joe burrows pre-game fit and his whopping 6 td passes in 5 playoff games?

And isn't it funny how they don't call Lawrence a "turnover machine" in spite of his throwing four bad INT's in the first half last week? And if Allen is a "turnover machine" what does that-make Dak Prescott given all the INT's he's thrown in 5 fewer games then Allen?

and Burrow and Mahomes who threw 2 less than Allen in the regular season.

My favorite for this week has been how since burrow didn’t play a great game this past week they’ve been referencing all of last years postseason(which was honestly quite pedestrian) as an argument for him going forward. But I’ve not see one person bring up Allen’s historic 2 game run from last season. Every show is “how many more to’s will Allen have this week?”

It’s honestly baffling. Watching the tv today one would have thought the Bills were a 9-8 Cinderella 7 seed as opposed to a 14-3 team coming into the week on a freaking 8 game win streak. How do the Bills even stand a chance against Burrow and his 7 tds in 5 playoff games!!!???

His only knock has been a bad tackling % as far as I know, which has been a talking point from time to time amidst the whole defense's tackling woes.

There definitely was a group, right when he got extended, that were very vocal about the fact he couldn’t stay on the field. Which was a flat out lie based on the actual games he’s missed.

I’ll live with the tackling stuff. Guy flys around like a maniac. His style is gonna miss from time to time. IMO it’s similar to Josh on a lesser scale. If you love and support the flashy stuff, you have to understand and accept the occasional goof that comes with it

It's not that different... the stats that matter for a freakishly athletic QB that balls out and doesn't play it as safe as a conventional QB- turnovers, completion percentage, total touchdowns- are not all that different. Sure the amount of passing yardage has increased, and I left that out in my comparison, but the RELEVANT stats point to the fact that a QB that plays like Josh does can win a Super Bowl. If you don't get that then that's a you problem.

yikes man. its way freaking different. The passing game and qb's are expected to be much more efficient with the football in 2022...

I freaking love Josh Allen but using an MVP season from 1996 to downplay his TO's is a really bad look. geez.

Favre completed 59% of his passes that year and still was in the top 10 for comp%. That wouldnt even crack the top 20 in todays nfl. He had a 95 qb rating which was 2nd in the whole league. That wouldnt even crack the top ten this year..... they're td #'s are similar cool. But josh needs to have much better efficiency #'s than a 1996 brett favre if we're winning the whole thing.

  7. Imagine starting a thread about another team that ends up lasting nearly 200 pages and it’s mostly people swearing up and down that they aren’t worried about said team…. Even though they started a thread on their page that’s now lasted 200 pages…. Yikes.

  8.

    Good watch

-recaps his thoughts on the jets game

-talks about how he loves the snow games but also hates being cold. talks on how he's played in enough now that he knows how to physically and emotionally prep for them. IMO this is the big advantage our vets have over other teams coming to Buffalo. While plenty of our players were born in or prefer warm weather, they understand what to expect and how to phycological prepare.

-talks about being excited about the return of Beasley and how he's beloved in the locker room.

-touches on good deeds and sobriety towards the end

..... just a good solid listen on a Wednesday
