We do have that new stadium on the way and a long lease to stay in WNY. I hope Kim makes a full recovery but if the team does get sold it won't be as stressful as when they were sold when Ralph passed away.

But then what would happen if somebody leaves their grill on and the whole stadium burns down. Plus Von already as much as admitted to comtemplating arson. And don't get me started on asteroids. Doomed.

  2. If I remember right McVay had the starters in, went up tempo but not 2 min as they were not going for the sideline, and also went for it on 4th down.

I'm thinking McD understood then that they were both treating it as basically a chance to practice and try a few things.

Felt like they were on the same page and mutual respect and not a D move, just let it all play out.

  3. I am much more concerned that we did not get to see our new punter kick.

Which if i check my notes.... is a flat 0.0 TCL (Total Concern Level)

So running the numbers with Elam vs Benford and adjustments for draft position is at a -3.2 TCL, which coincidentaly is at the "just beat the defending SB champs on the road across the country in front of a national audience, with a belly full of wings and beer" level of concern.

All kidding aside, I am so happy that this coaching group does not take any of this into consideration. Best players on the field regardless of draft position, pay, age, vet or rookie mean nothing, make plays and put in the effort. (See OJ Howard, Cody Ford vs Matt Milano, Spencer Brown)

    Zach Davidson draft profile:

    “Rare tight end/punter position flexibility”

    👀👀👀

Holy crap i thought you were kidding until i read the bio 😀

Davidson has excelled in one of the most unusual double-duty roles in college football the past three seasons. The Webb City, Missouri, native has been the Mules' punter since his redshirt freshman season, when he averaged 44.3 yards per kick.

  5. It is my understanding unless things changed that Vets (4 yrs + in the league) are not subject to the waiver system.

So Barkley and Duke etc are free to sign back here or elsewhere if they wish, roster or PS.

You could at least spell his name correctly in your title.  It is Kevon and it is right in your link.

It is a little thing, but something poor Kevin has had to overcome.

Maybe it is how he has held on.  Yep - we cut You why are you still here - I am Kevon and you cut Kevin - survival of the mis-spelling.

If that was the case Kuandjimo... Kudandimomo....Kuaniminio..... that dude that stripped his pants off in a field would still be here.

  7. Donald is a force and one of a kind.

However, I will throw this out there. Last year I was looking them both up and if i remember right Oliver's snap count is around 50% over his career and Donald's is over 80%.

I have to think that if given more opportunities based on what I see of Oliver's game the discussion would be at least a little closer.

I know McD loves his rotation but I would have a hard time taking Von and Oliver out in a big game situation regardless if they had just been in.

  8. So what i hear everyone saying is that they are basically like Bills comp picks.

They are real and exist except they don't really. We should worry about it, but then again who cares.

It applies to some teams sometimes, but usually not. They are based on a formula that no one knows, but can be manipulated to possibly change the outcome, or not.

    Got it! Thanks.

  9. At least once every year

    Josh

Allen completed 32 of 43 pass attempts (74.4 percent) for 358 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 129.8 rating and added a rushing touchdown in Buffalo’s 43-21 victory over Washington.

This is the seventh-career Offensive Player of the Week award for Allen:

    2018: Week 17

    2019: Week 11

    2020: Weeks 2, 9, 13, 15

    2021: Week 3

Allen trails only Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly (10-time winner) for the most Offensive Player of the Week awards by a Buffalo quarterback.

He joins Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry as the only players to win a Player of the Week in each of the past four seasons (2018-21).
