I love Odunze.  If we can't land him, I kinda hope we double up on McConkey and Worthy.  Adding them gives us 3 WR's who run 4.3 and below - 40's.

McConkey can play the outside and Worthy was predominantly outside.

This speed stretches the defenses.  If Allen had the Dolphins speed and with Kincaid in the middle....erection.

I love him too. I’m a UW fan and watched him all season long. I’d be very comfortable moving up for him because I know exactly what we’ll be getting.

  2. The closer we get to the draft the more I want us to move up to 8 and grab Odunze. I don’t expect him to slip past Chicago. I know this mortgages our future, but Odunze has character, intelligence, and elite skills. He’d be perfect for Allen. If we can’t make that happen, I’d be okay to move out of the first round altogether and take 2 WR’s to buck the odds.

My appetite for trading up starts at #9. If Odunze is still there I'd pull the trigger. Next year's 1st, next year's 2nd (from Houston), maybe both of our 4ths this year. Chicago only has 4 picks in the entire draft, they are a prime trade up candidate.

I think we’d need to trade up to #8 with Atlanta. I don’t see Chicago passing on Odunze.

Not only will the price tag of a Aiyuk, JJ, Higgins be alot, but the draft capital as well.  We're likely talking a future 1st rounder at minimum.

If we're going to drop a future 1st, I'd rather do what it takes to move up for 1 one of the top 3 in this years draft.

I could see Beane wanting to get that "stud" prospect OR building our WR group like the GB model (young collective unit, but no #1).

Either way, I don't see us trading for a premier WR

I think the GB model might actually be the way to go about it.

I’m hoping we move up in first and get Thomas…or Odunze it he slides close enough because of an early QB run and someone like Cowboys over drafts Worthy ahead of Odunze.  I’m also ok moving back from 28 and taking a WR and picking up maybe a 3rd in doing so.  I’m also fine going BPA if it’s another position and then maybe trading up in the 2nd to go get our guy.

Draft is so deep and rich at WR, so I’m good with a number of scenarios.  I don’t feel like it’s gotta be one particular way this year.

Odunze will not make it past Chicago’s pick at 9. Williams and Odunze have apparently become quite close.

Why would you tie up the almost 4 million in cap space?

Yeah, I get it. Just having fun with it. I think Brady could get clever with him. Might be enough to take us over the hump and only for a 6th round pick. He wouldn’t hit that 4th round pick criteria here.
