Good post....people act like having an elite WR is how you win. Elite QB? Yes absolutely you need that. Does having a guy like Jefferson make you better, yes he does but not nearly to the same degree. Whatever team has Partrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will be there in the playoffs consistently, but that is not necessarily true for even the best WR like Jefferson. The WR position is getting stupid crazy and it will correct with the amount of talent coming in from college. Look at the Dolphins, Hill/Waddle Seahawks...they have three. And the best they can do is make a wildcard round or not make the playoffs. How deep has Jefferson taken the Vikings?

It would have been news if we was not the highest paid non QB on offense. You can play the game of compare and contrast rosters about AAV, what is the point. Josh Allen's AAV is more than Jefferson and the Vikings QB's probably. How do you want to slice it?

I vote no, I like him a lot athletically but he has some significant holes in his game....catching, blocking and short yardage. The catching is something he needs to improve on, as is blocking, to some degree this is willingness. He does not have the body for short yardage and that wont change.

I really think the smart move here is nothing/minimal if anything. You need money for draft picks (couple million-ish), practice squad (a few million) and in season injury replacements (4-6 million). That takes up the June 1 windfall....now they can restructure people still to create money when they need it, so they could just spend it. If you add someone, you are bumping someone off the raft. At t his point I see a reasonable 53 with some questsions. There will be TC cuts, in season moves etc.....so lets not let it burn a hole in our pocket....

It also helps them justify their draft picks. I am not a Beane basher but this is just human nature. Not all players even who are just good need a second contract unless that value is truly there.

Gambling is like any other vice, in moderation it is fine but many people cannot do it with moderation. Especially younger people who get caught up before they really have any idea what is happening. Life is about choices, most people live and learn but there is a societal impact on some level, it negatively affects families. With the advent of AI, I don't think most realize how much they are being manipulated by the apps which is kind of scary but the genie is out, there is no stopping it. I have a poker background so I understand gambling but I think sports betting is almost exclusively a suckers bet so if you use some disposable cash fine, thinking you will make out is silly unless all you do is take advantage of the signup bonuses.

This guy has the right attitude and is a true pro, I see him having the potential to become an elite slot.

The Bills did not add much at CB.....yet they are down Tre and Jackson, right now it seems he is CB3 on the outside, he needs to step it up. Or the Bills need to move him to a team that is better matched to his skill set.

They also have more population period who might want to check it out. I guess we disagree that Foxboro is more accessible to more population than OP.....having been to both they are very different in that respect.

Yes, for these one.....Unfortunately I am not sure how different the age groups are. There are some that get it and some that don't in all age groups....I really think its just a human condition thing. With the coming AI revolution it is kind of scary.

I listened to a podcast that talked about how banged up he has been, sometimes even when playing that has affected performance. I am hopeful for him. The other thing is there is absolutely no correlation between elite 40 yard dash speed and NFL production. It takes a myriad of traits be be good, speed is one and only one factor.
