Brave putting the bolded on this forum :). I agree for the most part, I do want them to invest a 1 or 2 in a WR though, mostly for the future rather than this upcoming year.

Some in New England unhappy Dynasty is tarninshed
Matt_In_NH replied to Punching Bag's topic in The Stadium Wall
I watched the whole thing. It definitely was spun negatively toward BB. But he brings it on with his ***** responses to reporters questions. He does not seem to understand how things are perceived, he could have answered some things differently. It is also possible they used bits and pieces to paint him a certain way. He was pretty good in other media appearances such as the top 100 players of all time thing on NFL network. That side never came out in this thing. At one point Hernandez asked to be traded because he thought he was in danger and BB said no. They made him out to be evil for not going along with the trade, I thought that was unfair. I also live in NE so I get their fans points of view on this stuff too. It is mixed....the cheating stuff was real and most fans deny it all. I also think the NFL's history was if you are not cheating you are not trying. They did not just win because of the cheating scandals but its fun to say it. Kraft was an open book it was great....Brady went to Kraft's house to say he was done in NE...they asked Brady about it and was like "I will keep some stuff personal"...they cut to Kraft and he opened up "Gisselle said BB is an AHOLE and doesnt respect my Tommy" haha -
What are your thoughts on the Steelers QB situation?

Panthers sign Clowney 2 years 20 million deal
Matt_In_NH replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is exactly what I meant -
I would not expect an IOL with the first round pick, the value of the player could be there but the value of the position makes it tough. Last year people mocked Torrence to the Bills in the first and they got him in the second. I fully expect DE, DT or WR with the first pick. If it were OL, I would think an OT that fell would be more likely than anything inside.

There are a lot of people who seem to think that is how it works. -

He had micro-fracture surgery after the draft I think....remember hearing a DR on Sirius saying he would never get a second contract....he has bounced around a bunch and never was what his hype was but he has made a nice career for himself. -
Beane Discusses Draft Strategy w/ Pat McAfee
Matt_In_NH replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would like to see an unbiased analysis of Beanes draft picks vs others. If you want to cherry pick guys who did or did not work out you can do that for every GM ever. You have to be able to peel through the layers and compare to his peers to evaluate him fairly. The ignoring his franchise QB think is ridiculous, this is not fantasy football. How are Diggs and Kincaid on the Bills Roster? -
McDermott is feeling the pressure
Matt_In_NH replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand your argument to a point. However, personally I believe the Bills can get it done and further, that they will, I understand they have not and nothing will change people's opinion until they do. The 49ers play in a weak conference and they have the same problem the Bills do, they cant beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. It just happens to be true that they are in the NFC and cannot face the Chiefs unless it is in the Superbowl. The Chiefs have been to 6 straight AGCCG's...they are consistent and hard to beat, it's like Jordan and the Bulls or another analogy I want to avoid here. -
McDermott is feeling the pressure
Matt_In_NH replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
You think the Bills just wilted away in 13 seconds and last year? Have the 49's wilted away in their two SB losses? You make it sound like the Bills are not completive or capable of winning those games, its simply false. It is a fact they have lost the games but wilted away is silly. One team has demonstrated a winning formula for the last 6 years, it is literally like the Jordan led Bulls. What is your idea for the new staff? Who will it be? -
It is a distraction but I would watch it. The show is way tuned down with the actual drama and key conversations showed. The teams clearly have influence on what is airable so the show is not what it once was. If was able to choose, I would say no for the Bills but at this point it is inevitable, everyone has to take their turn at some point. Its like the home game in London....eventually your number comes up.

My only beef would be this would have been better to know before FA started. But on the flip side, all 32 teams are in the same position.

There were rumors he was contemplating retirement after the injury.

Andy Reid says it’s really hard to win in this league just yesterday. It’s true and generally shows respect for all the others that put so much work and money into trying to win. -
You are probably correct about that.

Teams make offers to players all the time that don't get reported....I bet McDaniel will mention "he's fast", struggle to maybe make the playoffs and get toasted if they do.
-
Well revolt cause it’s happening OBD

Ok but how is that relevant? The bills stadium is partially build with public funds the other part is from pegula and ultimately PSLs. If legislature passed a bill to build 60% of an Olive Garden restaurant do you expect free food? I guess the analogy would be if Olive Garden charged a fee to have the right to go through the door. So you would object to the fee but cost of dinner is ok? You have the choice regardless to go there or not.
-
Put what to a vote? PSL's? that makes no sense. Do people vote if the Olive Garden offers chicken parm? Its on the market, buy it or don't buy it, it is all of our choice.

Making the fans pay is better than making the tax payers pay IMO. They are doing a mix though. They can do it because demand is there, it's just that simple. 10%, pay cash or you are a sucker

So more 15 yard penalties....cant wait. I am good with making the game safer but maybe we can get rid of the 15 yarders for touching the QB's facemask?
