Its not that he makes mistakes, everyone does.  I think the biggest issues are his in game management errors have not gotten consistently better over the 5 years.   When game gets tight, so do his decisions and coaching especially against Andy Reid.  He cost this team wins in the biggest games of past 2 years in playoff games at KC.

Im not a fan of McD, he personally just annoys the hell out of me.  He is good coach, but good enough to win Super Bowl?  I don’t think so at this point.  He seems more Doug Collins than Phil Jackson. I don’t think he should be fired now, but some improvement in these areas better come soon.

I believe thats your point right there.

  2. A lot

He has turned the culture around and has the team playing hard every game, playoffs in 4 of 5 years?  We have a young QB who could be the best in the league for another 10 years.  These threads are tiresome, its like saying that you should be fired after a mistake at work no matter what it is because people are perfect and dont make mistakes.

I will be disappointed if KC doesn't win it.    Mahomes and that offense are incredible and despite a few loud mouths, overall  I have had a good experience with Chiefs fans.

If KC does win it all,  it validates our thought that the Bills would've won SB if they decided to play any D in the last 13 seconds.  Not sure if that will make me feel better or worse when the champion is crowned .

I dont, I hope whoever beats us loses horribly the next week.

  4. I never understood this obsession people have as fans of a team they watch to come in and condescend to fans of other teams (both positive and negative) after games as if they were on the field and had anything to do with it.  We know we have a good young QB and will have opportunities but I don't need validation from other fans of a team with a good young QB to tell me that.

Because the other guys are FAs for a reason.

Every team in the NFL is discussing Brady right now whether they love their QB or don't. Because the goal is to win the SB and Brady has done that better than anyone in history. If you think hes the missing piece, you go get him. If thats the 49ers and they dangle Jimmy G in a trade, I'd be willing to be they would get some very attractive offers

For goodness sake Tyrod Taylor was traded for a 3rd rounder and Josh Rosen for a 2nd! You dont think the guy who just led a team that picked second overall a year ago to a 14-2 record and a NFC Championship is worth a 1st?

No, because a 1st round pick comes with potentially 5 years of team control. Front offices will weigh the potential value of players amortized over the lifetime of that control relative to the gains they can expect to receive in a trade.  That's why you see trades with former 1st round players going for peanuts only a couple of years later.
