  1. I like reading him. Does he sometimes go into the "act" of pointing out the negative too often? Yes. Is he too verbose most of the time? Yes. That being said, he is a very good columnist who tells the truth when others dont want to hear it. I agree with 50% of what he says/writes but he backs up what he believes in. He doesn't just throw things out there like that garbage of a station he appears on. Hope his Mom takes a turn for the better.

  2. Remember Cabrera's DUI last year when he got out of the car swigging Scotch? What a difference a year makes. It's an amazing thing. The playoffs are going to be insane.

Posey MVP in my eyes (yes, i am a Giants fan but Chef is right. Not even the club knew if he would be the same. He wasn't. He was better.

  3. To me the most flagrant and useful episode was right before SB36. On the day before the game, the Rams installed some new formations/pass routes that they've never used. Martz is still convinced that the Pats knew exactly what play they were going to run and when they were going to run it. More importantly, for the Pats, the defensive call to combat it.

  4. bbb is so right. listen to Steve Somers take a call on WFAN. "Hey Steve, how ya doing?" "Fine and thank you for taking the time and go right ahead.." The fact that Schoop thinks this wastes valuable time and takes away from the electric discourse that's sure to follow on his end is laughable. So glad I haven't listened to GR in months.
