Kincaid is going to need some targets here.
Stop running sideways.

Have to get Klein off the field, take the green sticker and give it to Poyer.
-
Have to get Klein out of the game now.
-
Gotta get Klein out of there.
Line got close, even had a Von sighting.
-
Just like Jordan Love, IMPATIENT, tons of time left just forced it anyways.

40 minutes to kickoff and i have not been this nervous with anticipation in a while. its a great terrible feeling all at the same time,.
It’s nowhere near the dread I felt last year.

Klein was really bad against the Steelers... I know he had one great 3rd down stop. But so did Williams. Klein to me is a spot starter you can get away with for 2-3 drives. Across a full game he is too limited and will quickly get picked on. Williams is scary and I would put a tight leash on him but I think he should get first dibs.
The defensive line must be dominant tonight.
They need the best game collectively they’ve played all season.

so much for Spector just being pain management.
He’s always hurt.

They’re trying so hard to prop up Purdy.
He sucked, and his defense kept the Packers down long enough, and of course he got lucky with the missed FG.

The Niners will NOT scare me if we get to the SB.
Obviously a very good team - but not what they are hyped to be.
Stop McCaffrey and you stop the 49ers.
-
49ers didn’t deserve to win that game, they got outplayed all night.
Purdy could have run on first down on the second to last drive, instead he passed for -1 yard play.
He could have put his head down there and gotten down the field.
Two timeouts and 53 seconds left and he went for it all.

I've seen that. And I've seen the quotes from him.
But all it takes is one concussion specialist for the League to say "I'm sorry, but 6 days isn't enough time" and all of that doesn't matter.
Again, I'm very optimistic and i'm really, REALLY hopeful he gets cleared. But it's not a sure thing until it is and there's things at play that can supercede everything we've seen and heard.
Yes but that stuff is collectively bargained.
Is the baseline test back to normal and are there no symptoms?
I have no idea what constitutes the final test from the independent neurologist, but something like this has to be somewhat based on data correct?

Yeah, it seems a lot of people are bypassing optimism for blind optimism.
I really hope he plays. And considering he was on the field every day this week says to me he cleared a lot of the stages of protocol fairly early. So that's a good sign.
But the fact remains that 6 days in Concussion Protocol is an incredibly small window. There are examples of people doing it in a week. But less than a week? I don't know how anyone can be so sure that's definitely going to happen.
I'm extremely hopeful. But I won't be remotely surprised if the league doesn't clear him, regardless of what he's been saying.
He’s flying around here:

Seems like this year it is more likely than not guys are coming back in one week not two.
Brock Purdy did it with one on Monday Night.
Trevor Lawrence did it.
Ty Johnson did it last week.
The Bills played Monday Night and he was back on the practice field Wednesday afternoon.
And obviously severe symptoms didn’t come back Thursday or Friday.
Also, the initial contact was not intense. Not that it has to be, but it didn’t look obvious. Biggest thing I wondered was why was he shaking his hand?

“No stone unturned search” ended up being 5 days in Arizona where the Bills interviewed:
Lovie Smith
Ken Whisenhunt
Doug Marrone
Chip Kelly
Ray Horton
Russ Brandon is the reason that happened.

With Rapp out do we use Elam, Lewis, or Hamlin when we go to the dime? Elam has actually played more snaps than Lewis.
With this Coaching staff, you need their trust.
Cam Lewis has been here longer.
They trust him more than they do Elam.
And with Elam being inactive for so much of the year, has he cross trained at anything other than boundary corner?
Lewis, we know, has cross trained in the slot and 3rd safety.

Really need Taron to get cleared.
That obviously allows the Bills to field Poyer-Hyde-Dane-Douglas along with Johnson.
That is a good enough secondary.
If Taron doesn't go then I don't think Elam bumps down and then it's Cam Lewis out there all day.

So Mahomes can just throw to whoever Lewis is covering like Rudolph did on those two TD drives?
He definitely got smoked on that 2nd touchdown.
Just stood there.

Rapp is a very underrated injury, especially with Benford out. May need to use Neal again for that big nickel.
Would it be Cam Lewis rotating at the 3rd safety?
As long as Damar Hamlin doesn't see the field on defense.

The defensive line is a big let down.
Theyve done nothing, every run seems to get into the second level and of course they can’t get Mahomes on the ground once.
