  1. If Bates doesn’t practice today, I’m guessing that Boettger gets activated and starts on Saturday.

Last year, Boettger replaced Feliciano for 10 games who was in turn replaced by Bates for the remainder of the season.

Christian Wilkins can be a game wrecker & can play anywhere along the line though will likely occupy whoever mans RG.

He’s just too quick/disruptive for our sloggers.

Will probably need Knox/Gilliam to give help all night long.  If not, look for multiple ‘CUT(Offensive lineman)’ threads next week.

IMO, he’s the closest player to A Donald and already has 75 tackles (1st for DT) with 14 TFL.

I just looked back at who was out there for our secondary in week 3… Jaquan/Hamlin and Elam/Jamarcus Ingram. Dane and poyer were both out. Obviously no Tre. Benford I believe started the game but got hurt. Also no Ed Oliver. We did have both LBs.

Also Phillips was out with a hamstring.

Benford broke his hand during the game.

Morse was out with his elbow problem.

  3. BarrIng disease, injury or advanced age, leg muscles do not simply atrophy into porridge over a period of a couple of months.  He WAS injured last year, yet managed more yards & catches on fewer targets in the postseason than Diggs. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/buf/season/2021/seasontype/3

IMO, Beasley is permanently ‘washed’ is bs.  A couple of weeks of trainer specified leg exercises can likely get back a high % of his former ‘pop’.

If he can’t become effective again, then let him go. BFD.

What are people so afraid of, that he succeeds?

Milano is a ***** missile and I love him. His technique in the tackle is insanely good. Reference won't translate I don't think. But he tackles like rugby players do over here. He's one of the best tacklers I've ever seen in any sport.

Rugby tackle is the perfect analogy.

Okay, but it's something he's done and could do. Even if you remove that from his repertoire, the point is moot. Isaiah Hodgins for Isaiah McKenzie is not something that would happen as they are completely different WR's that line up and play completely differently.

    I agree, very different.

Hodgins catches the ball.  McKenzie doesn’t.
