    I do think your skin tone influences your experiences and perspective... It may not be the 1950's any longer but obviously there is still a large percentage of people of color that feel things haven't progressed enough.

    I edited my post, I meant to write offend. And as the quote from Kap stated, the origins of the protest weren't to offend...it was Kap refusing to show pride in a flag. People chose to be offended.
