Edmunds is looking really good today. One of the only bright spots.

So there's 50 posts going after Benjamin for dropping a pass from Allen yet everyone went silent when he dropped a 20 yard pass from Peterman then got outmuscled on Carr's INT. Weird.
Can people not show blatant bias on here for once?
Give it up man. People gave Benjamin crap for that drop too, the difference is Peterman followed it up with a bunch of awful throws including 2 terrible interceptions. Peterman is done.

Dumb play by Allen but if Benjamin catches a ball in his chest it wouldn't matter.

Benjamin has been terrible. I mean come on.

No I value having 3 QB's on a roster for when something like this happens.
I suspect at this point we will go sign Matt Moore or something like that. Peterman is done. It makes no difference really.

You'd rather a 5th round pick than being the laughing stock of the league? I don't think that's worth a measly 5th but whatever floats your boat.
Yeah for some reason Bills fans are obsessed with what the media thinks of us. I couldn't care less. Do you actually value positive headlines over draft picks??

Oh boy. I guess that's it then. Give him that experience.

We have no QB now, Peterman sucks and Allen barely looked ready even in the pre-season against 2nd and 3rd defenses. Evidently we shouldn't have let McCarron go.
McCarron brings nothing to the table. I'll take his 5th round pick over an extra win or 2.

???? How about the drive at the end of the first half? The pass defense is epically bad.
The drive at the end of the half started at like the 10 yard line... they haven't been off the field.
Ah man poor Peterman. His career is done. I hope we keep him in for a few more weeks but my bet is that the team won't tolerate it and we'll be forced to start Allen.

Beane has no clue and no plan.
He has a plan but we won't know if he can execute it until next year. I know this sucks right now. The Sabres sucked for a couple years and now they have a very promising young corps. That's what you have to do sometimes. We've had so many years of 7-9 and 6-10. This is ultimately going to be better in the long run.

Reminds me of Saints game last year.
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the defense in this game, and I know that seems weird. I can't imagine any defense in the league doing better than this. The only sore spot was the first drive.

Sean is to stubborn to bring in Allen, hates to be wrong
Lol hates to be wrong?? Do you think he genuinely believes Peterman is our real starting QB? Leaving Peterman in for the 2nd half is proof he knows what this is.

When he dropped the ball I felt nothing. No disappointment.

It should be Nick Bosa. Draft him, grab a bunch of O-linemen, and sign the best WR we can in FA. If Allen develops next year will be a lot of fun to watch.

Peterman is 4/13 25 yards and 1 int
Not bad!
Only a little worse than Deshaun Watson who a bunch of people on this board have criticized McBeane for not drafting.

I don't ever want to see Nathan Peterman play for my football team again.
I would rather watch the worst QB in the league than the 25th QB in the league. That's why we traded Tyrod. There's no value in that.

Hmm. I mean I tend to agree on both. But I want someone who gives me a chance to know. Not this !@#$ing useless loser.
I have a feeling Allen will come in after week 4 or 5. For right now we should stick with the plan IMO.

If their intention is to go 0-16 they should stick with Peterman. The downside of that is you can't evaluate whether Benjamin or Zay or any of the other receivers are part of your future or not. Matt Moore isn't gonna win you 8 games and ruin the draft. He does however give you a chance to work out whether any of those receivers and pass catching tight ends are worth sticking with. You can't do that with this clown at Quarterback
I can evaluate Benjamin just fine watching this game. He is extremely mediocre and has no business being a #1 WR. Zay Jones still can't get open or win contested catches.
-
I don't know our run defense looks a lot better to me. I'm not watching Star specifically but it seems to me like he's doing his job. Murphy needs to get over his injury. And Davis looks like a bad signing. Oh well.

That was totally Taiwan Jones tho.
You're right it was both of them actually. All you have to do is fall on it.

Good thing we kept Holmes for his incredible special teams play!

McD loses the team if he doesn't put Allen in
That is the one thing that worries me about tanking. It's hard to sell that to the players. If Peterman throws another pick they really might not have a choice but to put Allen in.

Even in that scenario trotting this loser out is not acceptable. It is akin to trying to lose.
Go sign Matt Moore if you want Allen to sit. You can't trot this out Happy Days. You just can't.
I don't see the point of signing Matt Moore. He isn't going to turn us into a powerhouse. Maybe we win an extra game or 2 with him. It does us no good. I've never been the guy to advocate for tanking but if you're going to do it you really have to do it.

Now that's why I started the Baltimore defense. That sucks for Peterman. He's supposed to be accurate and that was just terrible. I still don't want to see Allen today though.
