  1. I lot of what our Defense does in the 4th quarter or at the end of a game is affected by how offense plays. When you can't run the ball and pass 3 times with out converting it skus the time of possession way in favor of the other team. At one point last night it was 31 minutes to 18 minutes.

This means are Defense is on the field 50% more then the other teams. They are gassed by the 4th quarter and by the end of the game they are done.  Couple that with bad defensive play calling and it's a no win situation.

If the offense would stick to the damn run and we can establish a run it will fix a lot of issue. But not the crappy coaching. MCD needs to go regardless.

  2. The fact of the matter is that if this game is played in Buffalo we win the game and probably don't loose Milano for the year. I think it ridiculous that we give up a home game to play a team that clearly has the advantage from playing in a time zone 5 hours ahead for two consecutive weeks on AstroTurf.  Unfortunately as a fan getting mad at the situation is not going to change it. The team should have denied playing in London or at least after seeing it was the Jags who are playing two strait weeks in London agreed only if it was considered an away game. Yes we still loose but we keep 8 real home games.

  3. Cooks and Harris are perfectly fine RBs. The issue is Dorsey and the way Josh is being coached. Daboll had Josh playing much more disciplined then Dorsey. Not sure if it's the play calling or what but it's not working. Dorsey may have been a great QB coach but as an OC he stinks.  It feels like they are just letting Josh do what ever he wants instead of coaching up a game plan and sticking to it. Also someone has got to tell him to stop throwing his body around the field recklessly.

  4. So not sure if this has been a topic yet, but after discussing the Fins game with one of my Bills Fans friends, we agreed that typically this would be a game the past Bills would lose.   This is the game we are expected to win easily and we totally come out flat and  lay the goose egg.  This year I believe is different. I think we take care of our business and drop the hammer on the Fins. Not sure if we cover the 17.5 but I think its easily 10 or 12 point win.

  5. So I don't think this is a bad Idea at all. Gets rid of two preseason games that don't matter and adds another layer of complexity to the game. As for season ticket holders, most likely the games the starters do not play will be road games. Lets say your the 2-5 Bills are on the road at the Patriots.  A game they are most likely to loose. You sit your starters.  It gives them a break and lets your backups get some real game experience.  So if i'm the coach of an .500 team, I'm sitting my guy on the two hardest road games.  So now the pats have to decide weather or not to sit theirs guys,  chancing the win, and upsetting the the home crowd with backups.  I doubt they would do that. The pats are a team that on track to make the playoffs. If they sit them early in the season and they have a 1st round bye locked up week 13, well too bad, your ***** out of luck, they have to play.

It will definitely suck for Fantasy guys and pick-em pools.  I'm guessing if the rule does go into effect it wouldn't be a game time decision. It would probably have to have roster set by the beginning of the week.

    THoughts?

  6. Everyone is missing the real issue here an that is the money. Yes Hoyer is not an upgrade or even equal but if he can do 90% of what Tyrod can do at 1/2 the price Whaley will jump on it to free up cap space. If it allowed us to sign other guys we not be able to if we kept Taylor and there was not a better option at QB I might be on board.

  7. I'm not suggesting that we lose this game coming up against the Jags. I do think we will win but in the past this is the trap game that the Bills always lose looking ahead to next week. The Raiders. This is the one we should win but lose. This game will show us if anything has really changed from the last 15 years and if Rex can actually motivate these clowns.

  8. This just in. After a devastating lose last night after Tyrod and the Offense played there hearts out Rob Ryan has contacted three former Bills Defensive Players. Confirmed by sources he sent half eaten edible arrangements to former Bills Defensive players, Bruce Smith, Daryl Tally and Cornelius Bennett with notes asking if they would be interested in coming out of retirement. Flight crew from the the return flight home from Seattle confirmed the arrangements where stilled wrapped when he took them off the plane.

WTF...Have we played a game all year where both our Offense and Defense played up to potential?

  9. Good post OP. I agree with most. I do not give Rex a pass though. Yes there are injuries but we have injuries every year. Almost to the point I'm wondering should we be firing our strength and conditioning coach. It's a little ridiculous. Secondly Rex is not a good. It's the games that we should win that is the issue. He is not a good motivator,he is to predictable, he does not know how to make adjustments, his game plans are average at best and worst of all his game management skills are so bad I have to turn off the last 2 minutes of each have or I will through a beer at my TV.

But in all fairness I do not blame him. We know what we were getting when he was hired. A good friend of mine who is a jets fan absolutely loths this guy and I see why. Games of looking up and good followed by games of the exact opposite. He is a .500 coach and always will be. Even if we had, let's say Matt Ryan or Derrek Car he would still be .500. it is who he is and will always be. Yeah he had a good year or two in NY but then he had horrible years all averaging .500.

I blame the owners for actually hiring this Clown. Until there is mentality change at the top about what it takes to win this will never change. Rex will be fired we will hire another average coach who tries to draft a QB in the first round and unless he gets lucky and makes the right choice it will be another Trent or J.P or EJ. Even so if we did Ind the right guy for QB we wouldn't have thought coaching, offensive line or talent around him to make him Successful.

  10. No not glorious ..tragic.but even if our show up and there guys show up we still don't have the talent, coaching or game plan to beat them. This is only my opinion of course but let's face it History is on my side. I guess based on the last meeting only Tom Brady needs to be on the plan but I would be BB would have a different game plane and Rex would plan the exact same way as the last game. Predictable.

  11. If the Bills played the Pats 100 times under these same conditions we lose 99 times. Do I think this week is the 1 in 100 chance they win...No. I love the team, I love my players but Rex will be out coached and humiliated by BB. I hope I'm wrong but the only scenario we win this week is if the Pats plane goes down in a blaze of glory and we win by forfeit. I don't wish this to happen but that's the only way we win.
