  1. I'll second the Slingbox recommendation. I've been using my Slingbox Pro-HD for five (5) seasons now with an initial cost of $75, so $15/yr by now - and it's been great. Honestly people who come over to watch can't tell the difference between the antenna and the Slingbox. I recommend the Slingbox Pro-HD (older model) as it is available now on eBay for $40 shipped and can have an antenna plugged in (it has an ATSC tuner built-in). Just make sure it is set up for internet viewing before you leave for the year! Reddit NFL streams have been about 80% for me, sometimes they get taken down during the game which is frustrating. Slingbox, once set up, is pretty much 100%.
  2. Instead of rooting for dirty cheap plays, I'm rooting for solid free blitzing sacks that knock the ball loose and shake Brady's confidence. I'm fine with selling out the coverage for more blitzers and really hitting Brady solidly while he's holding the ball. Tough to do, but worth going for during the first quarter. What I'm not okay with is intentionally going for penalties, this isn't basketball!
  3. Thanks for posting that. Interesting that he said the run game is entirely new (1:23) to him but he knew most of the passing game based on Kubiak's version of the West Coast offense versus Roman's version. I would have thought he would be as familiar with both run and pass.
  4. Interesting, I have read in multiple places that Doug's total contract was $16 Million for 4 years. Was the contract that backloaded? $1.75M for the first two years, $4M for year three and $8.5M for year four? If that is the case, definitely the math would need to be adjusted. I can't find anywhere that indicates the yearly salary for Marrone, just that it was $16M for 4 years. I'd definitely be interested in a source for that. Any ideas on Williams' and Gailey's contracts? I can't find anything about them online.
  5. Total known: $24.5 Million. Seven missing years. Rex Ryan: $27.5 Million I'm going to guess that Gailey and Williams made more than $3 Million combined in the six years they coached (average salary would be less than $500,000). Surprisingly couldn't find Gailey or Williams with a bit of web searching. Not sure where else to look for those. 2015 Marrone $4 Million 2014 Marrone $4 Million 2013 Marrone $4 Million 2012 Gailey ? 2011 Gailey ? 2010 Gailey ? + Jauron $3 Million 2009 Jauron $3 Million 2008 Jauron $1.5 Million 2007 Jauron $1.5 Million 2006 Jauron $1.5 Million 2005 Mularkey $1 Million 2004 Mularkey $1 Million 2003 Williams ? 2002 Williams ? 2001 Williams ? 2000 Phillips ?
