I'm not gonna even say the Redskins are winnable, not after today and last week. Daboll better stay up late all week developing a gameplan that actually works
They were playing as good as they could before the bye week, even against the Pats. Somehow, it seems they took a huge step backwards. If the same D that played the Pats played today, would probably have been a different outcome
That designed run garbage makes zero sense. They talked about having Allen run less and pass more all offseason, and then this crap starts back up. It's almost like Daboll has no clue what to call and just falls back on a designed QB run
Brown has so many legal issues, he'd get served a subpoena right in the middle of a game. Green is too banged up to be trading picks for, especially for what Cinci is probably gonna want
They were great, then after the bye week, they became sloppy. In this case, having a great defense ended up being a detriment. Daboll relied too much on our D, and today we paid for it
This is always gonna be a problem, constantly trying to out think himself instead of just doing what works. Allen could go 10/10 and he'd do something to undermine it. Daboll has held this team back, and I'll agree that poor execution plays a role. But Daboll and his gameplanning is too overlooked outside of Bills fans. How much worse would it look if we made a monster trade for a WR but nothing changes?
Our problems on offense wouldn't change with Green, so losing draft picks makes no sense. We need a much better O coordinator, no amount of Green, Jones or anyone else is gonna change that
The problem with saying the Bills would have beat the Pats if Allen had finished is that by that standard, the Jets would have beat the Bills if Mosely hadn't got hurt. Idk if Allen would have been able to pull off the win or not
