  1. We have the strongest WR draft class in years, we NEED WRs, we have a great QB at his peak, and Diggs is gone and we also said we needed a blazer before he left. If we come out of this draft without taking one of the top guys or two it will be colossal failure. You win with offense in this league and we need to outscore the other top QBs in the AFC. Defense just needs to be adequate and not a complete sieve.
  2. Yeah but they won, unfortunately thats all some care about. They both represent everything that's wrong with the powerful.
  3. I like Legette too, but I've done dozens of mock drafts and he's always available at 35-40.
  4. Complicated legacy my ass, it was very simple, and he was my hero as a kid.
  5. There are three Alpha dog receivers with elite traits in this draft. The Bills brass and everyone else knows who they are. The question is can we can get one somehow this draft because they incredibly rare- think Jamar Chase. The rest of the Wrs in this draft look much better as a complement to the big dogs. The BIlls of course need 2 receivers this draft, I'm hoping an Alpha and one of the next tier guys. With 2 guys on rookie contracts we are ready to roll for awhile.
  6. Yes and trying to fill all the holes will end up disappointing.
  7. I'm old school I know, but lame is what this is. Article is worth nothing.
  8. I'm a big supporter of the double dip for WR with this great crew coming from college. I also believe that combining the draft pick WRs (bigger, physical, speed guys) with the crew we have will have a dynamic impact on the offense. Not worried about Diggs being gone in the least if they do that. Plus, let's face it, we need to outscore teams like KC, we've tried the over investment in D strategy for McDermott and it doesn't work. EDIT: I don't love the trading for a guy idea and then paying him. We could get 2 studs on rookie deals and go with that.
  9. Before the Diggs trade the consensus was we needed to draft a WR who has potential to be explosive. Now what I hear primarily is to still get a guy like that. The one guy is the key for me because we need to draft 2 not 1. I hope this is not lost on anyone when you step back and realize what this offense would be like with a couple young studs on rookie deals!
  10. Get two of the to 3 guys to go with Samuel, Shakir, Kincaid and Cook and we'll be ready to roll. No more complaining from anyone about Diggs.
  11. Food for thought! I wonder if we could get 2 of the top 3 somehow.
  12. I'm on board with this. Nabers would awesome to add. So would Harrison, Odunze or Thomas
  13. I think the plan is for move up to get Brian Thomas. While I'd love the top 3 WR guys, the move up is likely prohibitive for a team with other player needs as well this year.
  14. I'm actually more excited for the season now. Getting younger, cheaper and more interesting. Instead of running it all back and hoping for a different outcome. Chiefs won this way. Kudos organization.
  15. I remember when Jerry Rice was asked who the best receiver in the NFL was in the early 90s, he replied Andre Reed is 1 and i'm 1A!
  16. So many men getting emotional here, Whitney Houston would be proud. It was time to move on and don't be surprised if we are better next year.
