LOVE that move. I really liked him coming out. Injuries and scheme changes have hurt him but I think that is a low risk and v high reward pickup.
He could well earn a starting job.
I doubt he will start but intriguing pick up

Really awesome video and break down on Oklahoma State OT Teven Jenkins. I’m really starting to warm up To the idea of drafting him at #30 and letting the best man win between him and Daryl Williams. This guy is beyond impressive and fits the way we want an OL to play. A monster with a nasty attitude and unbelievable technique. What you guys think?

After signing Williams to that contract? What a wasted pick it would be. Draft a young DE; Hughes and Addison are 33,34 and on expiring contracts.

Look back at my post history and you can find mine!
ELIJAH MOORE WR OLE MISS
I hope he’s there for us at #30 and Beane wastes no time sending the card in.
Where do I even begin with this kid? I watched every Ole Miss game and he’s the definition of ELECTRIC!Lane Kiffin has coached at every level and been around some of the best athletes we’ve ever seen. He said that ELIJAH MOORE was the most talented he’s ever coached! Kiffin has been the OC at USC with Reggie Bush, HC of the Raiders, HC at USC, OC at BAMA UNDER SABAN...and he said that MOORE was the best!
Imagining Moore in the slot with Beasley and Diggs makes it a matchup nightmare. We would be the Chiefs on offense if not better.
Let’s bring Elijah Moore to Buffalo and have our very own version of Tyreek Hill 2.0!
Who’s your favorite prospect?
BEASLEY will be in the slot. Ridiculous to draft a WR at 30 with the depth they have. Who sits? Sanders? Davis? McKenzie? Any player drafted at 30 must be an immediate contributor.

He's rated mid 2nd to early 3rd. Just keep an eye on him and make a deal when the time is right.
Easier said than done. How will you know for certain " the time is right"?

These "trade down" scenarios are iffy. How far down do you trade? How can you know for sure he will be there? You can't predict what other teams will do.
-
Wasn't this all worked out when the CBA was approved,a year ago? I believe the players will receive a higher portion of revenue,48,then a bump to 48.5%? The 2021 cap was obviously affected by The Pandemic....2022 cap will benefit from the additional income, especially media dollars.

He looks Good. Nice signing. Convinced we are going DE and CB in the draft after the 2 LB signings today.Thats my guess....unless they draft IOL. Guard depth ,eventual replacement for Morse at center

He’d be the perfect player to end FA with. Spotrac has him listed a 2 years for 14 million. Give him a one year 4.5 million contract. 3 guaranteed. That’s less than projected. But he will get crazy exposure being on the Bills to go into the FA market next year. He is only 29 so he has a few good years left in theory. Or maybe the Bills keep him as Star’s replacement. This would wrap a nice bow over the team going into the draft. I worry that Harrison Phillips & Butler will hurt us badly again next year especially against the run.
I dont know if the Bills even can afford the contract you propose

He'd play outside in a 4-3 so I'm not sure it would affect Edmunds much, if at all. He's a little raw but looks like he could be a good pursuit backer.
Bills usually line up with just 2 LBs; Edmunds and Milano. If you are proposing Surrat as the first rounder....that seems like a wasted pick. When and where would he play?

How is it any way a positive for CWade to be indentured to the Bills for a third year? The man should have a chance to play for a team that wants him. This is just so wrong.
Nobody forced him to enter the program. He could have come to the States on his own. But he wouldn't have even gotten as far as the practice squad. Oh, you have also heard about contracts and collective bargaining etc?

Space for re-upping Josh Allen is my bet.
How does reducing THIS year's cap help extend Allen?

Signed Obada, restructured Tre. Barely under the cap ,so I think any additional pass rush help comes in the draft

Bills sign Jadevon Clowney to a 1 year 7.5 million dollar deal
Restructuring White's contract doesn't give them 7.5 to SPEND. It gets them barely UNDER the cap: they were over by 6 or 7 million

Not against this if the value makes sense

What if Trubisky likes Buffalo and is willing to stay? Cap should return to normal by 22,and,still have to resolve Allen's future. If Trubisky gets a chance to play he can improve his value to other teams.

Just b.c he is Allen's buddy better mean nothing. The guy is not a good QB, he was never meant for the NFL. He never looked like a leader ever always the guy who is just on a team.
Josh's buddy?

What about corner? I do think pass rush is important, considering the age of Hughes and Addison. I wouldn't object to Bills drafting 2 . A DE and a hybrid DE/LB

I agree that the Bills were counting on Star when they signed everyone only to see him opt-out on the cusp of training camp. And while he should help the defense, he'll likely be gone after the year. A replacement needs to be found sooner rather than later.
Star is under contract thru 2023. I think there is an out after 22,with a significant dead cap hit
-
What about corner?

Trading down for a specific PLAYER is risky. He might not be there, or might last longer and you've misjudged his slot. I think the Bills should focus on Edge and CB,OLine depth, then maybe TE.

Trading 30+61 for an 18 puts us at -1.32 about even trade That puts us a trade with Miami or Washington.
I ran a mock draft with a few different calculators and these were just some of the players that were available.
Edge Kwity Payne
Edge Greggory Rousseau
TE Kyle Pitts
CB Caleb Farley
T Christian Darrisaw
T Tevin Jenkings
CB Patrick Surtain II
CB Jayce Horn
LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
RB Najee Harris
Other?
Funny how much these sims vary
This is something just for fun
Thoughts
Not sure the vaue is there at 18 for a TE. I can see the Bills picking one,but later. They have Williams and Dawkins and would not take a T at 18,that is a huge waste of a pick. They can use depth at CB and youth at DE but dont have immediate need for a STARTER. And move up for RB? If anything,I would be tempted to trade back.

He will value shop and create cap if he needs it if we connect with a more expensive player that make sense for us.
Edit: Actually @Reed83HOF mentioned that Tre & Dawkins had restructure option clauses in their contracts but they had a window of a few days. That window has passed so I’d wager that they were executed and that we have more cap space than what OTC and Spotrac can verify. They wouldn’t want to broadcast the fact that they have the extra cap space for negotiation purposes so it’ll only come out if and when they need it.
Edit 2: Spotrac has us with negative cap space and does not yet have Feliciano’s contract accounted for. They Bills have certainly executed those clauses and/or made room elsewhere.
Don't assume that restructure info has to "be kept secret"

No...dont have cap space ,anyway

Why would he come to Buffalo with all the backs they already have? Has to be a BETTER opportunity for him somewhere.
