It's the manipulating media's fault everytime. Setting up poor JR and making him say something that he didn't mean to say. Those tv and print media guys are so tricky.

Schobel is an okay player who was in the right place at the right time and got himself a nice contract. As stated earlier, one of the biggest flaws in his game is taking too much of an outside charge which takes him out of the play on both rushes and passes far too often. He is young enough to improve and become a better player. Let's see if the contract has made him complacent or does he have the desire to get better.

Note to Roenick... Rumor has it that the two sides are close to an agreement. Over the last year the nhlpa (more so than the owners in my opinion) pissed off the fans over and over again, and in turn burned many bridges. Now is the time to win back the fans, not alienate them, just as the fans start to get excited over the prospect of hockey coming back in 05-06. I hope the Philly fans hammer him! STFU JR!!!

It is head and shoulders above the competition that I have seen or heard about(Six Flags, Kings Dominion, etc...). He did not participate in the team's mandatory minicamp or the organized team activities, and it is uncertain when he'll return to the field. A healthy Tucker is important because he provides solid insurance at two positions. He's a team favorite because of his intelligence, toughness and mean streak.
