The Chiefs spent 26 million +- less than we did, it’s time to use that cap space on offensive weapons, the writing is so clearly on the wall…,
LFG BILLS!!!
Can't in 24. Gotta pay useless Von Mille $25 to rehab another year.

This is sort of where I'm at. They're in a tough spot next year financially.
The money the Bills will pay Von Miller could have retained two quality starters. Miller will do nothing again this year. Bad signing in retrospect.

The bills could go without a backup qb, and revert to a single wing offense if Josh is hurt.

He’s on his way to being a top 5 back if he can clean the drops and fumbles
HE will always need a thumper short yardage back on the short yardage situations. Of course, there is 17 for that, but I don't like that choice.

Cook was 3rd in yards from scrimmage for all running backs. What else needs to be said?
What about turnover ranking though?

What did we learn about old power backs this season?
He earned his salary and was a surprising receiving threat.

A whopping 132 rushing yards on the season...of which 54 came against the Cowboys in a game they refused to stop the run. Granted he's probably able to be resigned on the cheap. But he's mediocre. He does nothing to move the needle on offense.
I look at it like this. If we were facing a team that had Ty Johnson starting or seeing significant snaps...are we nervous? No. Sign him cheap, let him compete for the RB 4 role? I'm down. Bringing him back as RB 2 would be a huge mistake.
RB is a sneaky need for this team in FA and the draft. SPOTRAC has Henry's market value at $4.3M. If he could be had at that price I'm kicking the tires. 2 other guys I'm looking at are A.J. Dillion and Zach Moss...both with market values in the same neighborhood.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire could also be a sneaky option. His market value is listed at a mere $1.6M. Joe Brady was on the LSU staff with him. And Brandon Beane has a history of grabbing players that perform well against the Bills. CEH dominated the Bills for 161 yards in the COVID year game in Orchard Park as well as having 2 key runs in the playoffs this year. I think he may be the Damien Harris replacement.
The Brady connection makes this plausible. Can't tell though, CEH may not want to be #2 behind Cook.

One of my least favorite Bills coaches of all time.
OK, but, he was right first about EJ Manuel, and Whaley wasn't happy about it. Hence, Kyle Orton's one season.

JOsh throws balls to spots upon occasion hoping his receiver will get there. I have seen both Davis and Shikir "get there", so that sometime works. But, Josh likes the hero ball throw, and sometimes the receivers get a glove and nothing else on the ball...hence called a drop. so, the comment above about some being on Josh is correct. But, he does that for the right reason, and sometimes it works out ok. On the other hand, Cooks drops this year were just lack of concentration and poor hands. I won't say bad hands, he catches some, but dropped the td pass against the Chiefs. Can't do that against them and be a winner.

Brazil has unique problems with staging a game. Medical facilities and supplies for one. My company built a plant down there, and we had special provisions made for medical treatments. Standards are not the same. But, if luck was good, no hospital needed for a game. But, great food and drink and a great country imho. I loved the people down there.

The games that concern me most out of these are Texans, 49ers, and maybe Lions.
Ravens are gonna drop off a bit, especially with losing their DC. Chiefs are going to drop off a bit, especially with losing one of their premier defensive players for likely all of next season. Also an outside shot that Kelce or Reid retire. A sick part of me wants them to win the Super Bowl so that there's a greater chance one of the would want to go out a champ.
We've figured out the Dolphins, and assuming we're healthy when we play then and Joe Brady somehow doesn't set the offense back, I expect to win both games against them. Very much hoping we don't have to deal with another extreme heat situation in Miami again. I genuinely think the league should attempt to address this issue, it is a legit danger.
Bengals I could see going either way. I really hope we beat them, as I don't think we have since like 2019. Also their fans are insufferable and I really, really don't want to see Burrow have anymore greater success than Allen.
The schedule looks tough-ish on paper, but think of all the playoff teams we beat this year. I really do believe we have a legit shot at the 1 seed, once again, barring another season of cursed injuries. Only 8 more months to go!
I don't see a #1 seed. To many cap problems. Lots of vets will leave for the money in free agency and I don't blame them. I think the Bills will struggle with a lot of rookies and cheap free agents playing and we will finally see the Von Miller gambit for the big mistake it was. But, you gotta break a few eggs to make and omelet they say. Go Bills

Not saying McD is perfect. In fact I've been pretty pissed about a handful of his decisions, but I remember the turnstile of coaches we went through during the drought. That sucked too.
Yes, bills changed coaches every three years. No more of that, please. (ok 2- years for REX) the Bean/McD cooperation is as good as it gets in the NFL. If you fire one, you will have to get the other replaced as well.

My whole family is white, we are not in the coaching pool, so no, the US population really has no impact on NFL hires.
56% of NFL players are black, I'm gonna guess that most coaches played at some point... that's where the pool comes from.
Its called the "availability pool"

I’m going to predict that both Morse and Bates don’t return…. they can no longer be paying Bates $4m a year to sit on the bench …
They could trade him for a 4th or 5th I think … he is a starter in this league …I wouldn’t even hate keeping him and seeing what he has at C and moving on from Morse …
bates will start at center, and Morse is gone. Problem solved.

Dorsey interviewed for a HC role last year. What’s your point?
We haven’t hired a defensive coordinator because McD doesn’t trust somebody else to run “his” defense. We will keep Brady because McD has full control over him. We will not be a team that innovates because we won’t provide freedom to coaches to be independent. We will only employ those that will fall in line. It’s like New England but without the success.
This is a serious problem. It reminds me of Rex Ryan who wanted his D his way. I guess the HC has that choice, and the results of McD's D is much better than Rex's. Still, it takes bandwidth away from the HC hat part of McD's job for him to be the DC. I think it is a real problem as no human as unlimited capacity.

Diggs is 30 now and will be 31 next season. That's not old but if his subpar 2nd half of the season wasn't injury related then his decline will probably continue as he gets older.
I know the reported injuries had Diggs as OK, and nobody claimed he was hurt even verbally. But, I watched closely, and there was definitely something wrong with him the second half of the season. Its just that it was never mentioned. I could see he was hurting. Not sure, but, I thought neck or shoulder.....upper body problem of some sort. Just my opinion after watching the NFL since the 60's. (yes, I saw Kemp and Dan Darough play)

Hurts is middle of the pack at best. Not likely top 10 based on what I have seen.

More likely bentford. Problem is we don’t know how good or bad Elam will be at corner and we may need 47 at CB. Plus he was pretty good there
Beneford can play but is hurt a lot. What are the stats on the first two seasons? No complete seasons. Maybe not one season of games total. Until we see some duribility, not sure he is in the long term plan.

don't worry about Kincard. This clickbate article will not harm his play at all.

Maybe they will bring in a coach that will practice on bye weeks? That way the rest of the NFL knows were are serious about winning.
Or, practices at least some on the frozen field where the team will play on it.

Johnson has a concussion. that recovery is unpredictable. Elam may see major time..

The dead cap isn’t an issue because you’re starters are already on the roster and accounted for. Any cap savings from White is a plus. Post June 1 cut saves $10 million.
Two major injuries in three years. Can't keep white for that reason now, next year will be his rehab year. He gets cut, and not just because of the money. Perhaps someone else will take a chance, but he could end up back with a min contract. Never know.

The pump fake is legitimate. I saw Jerry Juedy of the Bronco's, a wr, do it after a catch in the flat in a game this season. (It froze the cb btw) Pump fake transcends football, used in basketball all the time. And, the QB's pump fake in the pocket all the time too. And, sometimes, its not a fake, just a pulled back throw attempt cut short.
Its not a slide until the butt hits the ground imho.

The Diggs trade was essentially giving up a #1 for him. So, the numbers lie here to that extent.
