  1. The issue I see. The two DT projected to go in the first round would be back ups to Oliver.  In the 2nd round there’s projected 3, that I see making an immediate impact as back ups.

I could see getting a 2nd round DT and then doubling down in the 4th or 5th.  It’s not the best DT draft, a lot of lighter guys that could never fill Jones’ spot.

  2. My attempt, lucky DeJean fell to Buffalo, instant FS starter, still would sign a Free agent.

in the 2nd took an explosive WR, a faster AJ Brown (IMHO)

3rd got a back up explosive RB with size, adds to responsible good RB room. Also got a Guard to compete at LG.

Foster is another Tackle that could be moved to guard.  Cedric Johnson or Cole gives Buffalo a 4th DE (I assume they’ll resign Lawson still) so maybe 5th.

Pick 189 is a athletic LB, likely a PS candidate, but insurance.

Boyd and Lovette are potential back ups, both have good size, Lovette could be a steal.

and if you see a guy with the last name Bills, I think the Bills have to make that happen.

Diggs, Shakir, Hollins, Samuel, Shorter…even Kincaid (WR/TE). Nice WR room.

Face it…we need an interior O lineman or a safety.

    Deal with it.

I don’t think the WR room is done, we need the same thing now as we did last year.  A take the top off WR.  I also believe the Safety market in free agency is cheap.  If we make one more signing, I think it’s a safety.
There won’t be a safety that falls to 28 or is worthy of 28…it’s no man land.
I do think DT is a priority, but sadly this draft isn't the best for what we need.  Not having that 3rd round comp is BS.

  4. There’s a part of me that is sad for the Dolphins…nah…worse fans in the NFL

Best part, this is their window, it closed yesterday

tua is a game manager that needs talent around him to be slightly better than average. Now they are looking at a QB that will want to reset the market, and sexual predator DT that wants 20 million a season…with a negative salary cap situation

We're going to stick with our current RB core. There will be no trades. We need those picks for OL and Defense.

We don't have enough money to chase RB Saquon Barkley during the Summer because we have to sign WR Gabe Davis. I bring up Saquon Barkley because Josh Allen likes him.

I'm intrigued about CB James Bradberry though, but we don't have enough money to sign him either.

Please take a listen to locked on Bills, Friday’s episode (I think) will help you sleep better.

Monday morning I’m calling SF, I want 6’ 212 pound Jeff Wilson Jr, through 6 games he has 400 yards rushing and just lost his starting spot to CMC.  I think a 4th should do it.

  6. Don’t think of CMC as a running back, think of him as a slot WR with after catch abilities and occasionally a RB.  I personally don’t see him as a huge upgrade, is he better than any other slot WR we have? yeah probably…but I’d rather have a pounding RB in the 225+ range, but it’s not up to me.

  7. If you think about it, it’s not so much that the fans are coming from Western NY, we are coming from everywhere.  The age of most of us that lived through the golden years as impressionable kids are between 42-50, we are at the age where we moved away and have jobs.  I live in Florida (Orlando) grew up in WNY so it’s really my only chance to see Buffalo in person this year.  We have a large community of fans in Orlando.  A lot are not even from WNY, but they are in that age group and remember cheering for them as a 10 year old.

  8. I had a few words with a Dolphin fan that claims the reason they’ll win is that Hill kills Buffalo on slants.  I had to explain to him that Mahomes arm spreads the Bills D out. Tua can’t throw deep and doesn’t scare them out of the pocket.
    Got to love them…

  9. He was always more of a loner, I remember him hitting golf balls on the grass practice field before training camp practice, working on his short game.  His retirement was a shock, since he wasn’t very old and he was playing well.  But if my memory serves me right, we switched to a 3-4 and he didn’t want to be an OLB

Agreed. The "offensive genius" moniker applied to Sean Payton lost it's luster a few years back. His devotion to Taysom Hill didn't help. They needed a fresh start and a defensive HC was the right move for them. Having Michael Thomas back won't hurt either.

Agree across the board, i think Tampa actually take a step back, Nola has played them extremely well.  Carolina and Atlanta are not better…In fact Atl might be the worse team in the NFL.  I could see them going 11-6 and winning the south…if JW stays healthy.

  11. Cook, I think we are going to see a player unused in college be an absolute weapon in the pros.

    2nd Elam, though I wasn’t a fan prior.

confused: Bernard, I can’t begin to tell you how much I was hoping Muma would fall to us in the 3rd…stupid Jax.  Then Dean…but then we drafted Bernard, I’m sure he’ll be a good player, but LBer being a need I wasn’t expecting this LB.  I was kinda hoping for Channing Tindall…I thought he at least had the size to play inside.

other confused moment happened when we traded up to get Elam, giving up a 4th round pick…which could’ve been Calvin Austin jr, Isaiah Likely or Zack Tom…but in Beane I trust
