  1. Trading Diggs is not going to happen. Diggs will be here for at least one more season. Would make zero sense to lose Diggs and Davis and roll the dice with an unproven rookie and Shakir. We won’t have the money to sign a top WR and we aren’t going to be swapping WRs with anyone. So unless the Bills are getting Harrison, he’s staying.

Hate to bring this up, Cookie had a serious injury, given T. White's recovery time before reinjury, there is always a risk Milano may not be the same Cookie that was a key part of our defense, I think that means we have to do what we can to keep Dodson, or trust that Dorian Williams can augment whatever version of Milano comes back.

Milano injury was not as severe as White. He’ll be fine come week 1.

  3. The only way the Bills win last week was if we got points every possession. Our defense was never going to slow them down with what we had at LBer and banged up corners. We have to be at our absolute best in order to overcome the Chiefs in the playoff, that hasn’t happened.

The question is: do you draft potential future #1 to replace diggs (do it all prospect) or do you draft a deep threat? The deep threat would seem like a "need" with davis likely departing in free agency, but with the way teams play vs Allen, the deep shot is rarely there, if ever. I'm stuck on prospects myself,  will be doing more digging in future weeks!

You draft looking for a future #1, not just someone who can stretch the field. Someone who can generate RAC is what I’m looking for.

I think we will get a better idea of his value next year. Floyd had a great year opposite him. He will likely have a lesser partner next year and will have to take a big step. If he makes that step you pay him. If he is still just a guy, then you have a tougher call on his value.

Floyd started the season great, but only had 1 sack in the final 8 games, not good.

Uh yeah I would trade Terrel Bernard, Christian Benford, and a banged up Rasul Douglas for Tyreek Hill without hesitation.

McDermott's defense melting down in the playoffs is an annual tradition now. There's no reason to pretend it's a one-off caused by injuries. The sample size is large enough now to say that this is who McDermott is.

Yeah, no ***** Hill would be great.

But if you expected good or even decent defense from this injury depleted defense in the playoffs against the Chiefs, I question your football knowledge. Klein and a banged up Dodson in the middle was never going to work, I don’t care who your coach is.

The defense was just missing to many key players to be successful tonight. Not Mcdermotts fault. 2021 Chiefs playoff game, yes, that was all on coaching. But this one, I don’t fault him.

Get this - in our 2021 divisional loss to the Chiefs they had 7.6 yards per play.

So our defensive performance tonight was arguably worse than when they had Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in their prime.

Yeah we're never winning anything meaningful under McDermott.

You expected our defense tonight to perform better than our mostly healthy defense in 2021? 🙄

If anyone thought this defense was going to play well or even decent against the Chiefs with AJ Klein and Dodson starting as your LBers, and a severely injured secondary you’re smoking crack. It was pretty clear before the game that the Bills would pretty much need to get points every drive in order to win this game. And Josh Allen almost willed them to victory, he was absolutely lights out this game. But you can’t put this loss on McDermott. Losing is always tough, especially heartbreakers like this in the playoffs. But I truly believe McDermott improved throughout this whole season and would feel confident with him going into next year.

  9. No way McDermott is fired. We went from 6-6 to AFCE champs and #2 seed, all after firing our OC. The defense was absolutely decimated by injuries. Healthy defense Bills beat the Chiefs no doubt. Question should be, will Brady be back. He did a good job, the running game improved. The passing game declined. Don’t feel he was utilizing Diggs correctly. Allen played better down the stretch, but I don’t think that was Brady’s doing. In an interview on McAfee, I think it was Morse who said that after they fell to 6-6 Mcdermott basically just cut the team lose and told them not to worry about mistakes and to just go out their and play. Morse said it took the pressure off the players.

This told me that Allen was being held back until it was loose and over time. Which I get to an extent, they don’t want him to get hurt. But I don’t care anymore, just let Allen be him. We need to play with the heart that this team played with after we fell to 6-6 every damn game. Hopefully Mcdermott learned from that and doesn’t hold these guys back again.

The focus now needs to be, get the best option for OC in here. Get a legit deep threat. Improve the pass rush and get our Poyer and Hyde replacements.
