After cancelling DTV because they would not budge on there price, I received an email asking me to come back. They gave me the Choice package at $36/month(12-month agreement) , NFL Ticket - MAX for free, and a $200 Visa gift card. That works out to under $20 a game for the 13 games I need it for. I'm in Jersey so I see both Jets games and the Thursday night game. Guess I'm back to watching TV Sunday afternoons...

Goodbye SNFLT... No luck with DirecTV this year. They wouldn't budge on their price for SNFT. Talked to normal operator and retention operator. Had it since '97 and she recognized that, but since I got it for free last year, they couldn't offer me anything this year. Even with the cheapest monthly package and suspending it for 6 months, it would have come out to $40 a game. I can go out for drinks and lunch for way cheaper. This is going to be an interesting football season without being tied to TV every Sunday afternoon.

I'm not a big poster, but had relate my DirecTV experience. I've been a subscriber since '97, but only use DTV for Sunday Ticket. I also suspend the service for 6 months in the summer to save $180. I started complaining in ~2009 when the prices went into the $300 range. each year I tell them the cost is too high and I want to cancel DTV completely, so they reduce the price by half. I made my annual call last night and It turns out they already had me down for the Ticket at 4 payments of $40. And, they threw in the NFL Ticket Max feature at no charge.

And 24's right shoulder stripes are exactly the same as 25's . Someone was there covering up 24's shoulder so they grabbed it from 25.
