  1. I say underrated.

As much as I liked Diggs, he is the only major loss in the off-season, and I do not believe it is as major as many think. By the end of the season, the Bills were one of the top four teams in the league; the offense will be different and equal, if not better than after Brady took over.

I also think the Defense will be better (Milano back, Douglas a full season). But I concede: The one big question is what happens at Safety? If we get equal play there from the newbies, the entire Defense will be better.

Was omw home from work,  listening to WFAN and they were playing Joe Schoens live media scrum.

Couldn't listen to whole thing but one statement really stood out for the whole draft and every team.

He stated there was either 140 or 170 (can't remember exact #) players they had a draftable grade on, that are staying in school this year, majority because the NIL deals and ability to make $$, in his opinion

So this is the bad side to the NIL deals. Going to make GMs lives that much more difficult,  especially on day 3, where Beane has been stellar.

Just wanted to drop this nugget, as it kinda changes the whole landscape of the draft  especially hearing it straight from a GM.

It'll only get worse as years go on imo...

Are we supposed to feel bad for Joe Schoen and the other well-paid GMs of the NFL?

Let's see, "Stay in college, live the good life. No big responsibilities. Surrounded by college coeds. Make a few Million dollars while I'm at it." ...why rush the pressures of the NFL and adult life?

    Not for nothing:

“Penn State defensive tackle Austin Johnson is a hot name during the second week of the Nittany Lions' spring practice. He's emerged as a candidate to start alongside senior DaQuan Jones on the interior of Penn State's defensive line.”

With those two guys in the middle, maybe they can beat Ohio State this year?

He played reasonably well last year. He will have a good supporting cast.

He is a locker room cancer but Tomlin kept far worse guys in check in the past.

Only time will tell. But based on his play the past few years, I would "take the under" if I were a betting man. Plus, I loathe the Steelers (well, mainly Steelers fans), so any failure on their part is a sinister source of joy for me. ... Yes, I'm a sick man. 🤪

Steelers - Wilson gives them a shot to win the division

Ravens - solid moves and doubling down on what they do best is usually not wrong

Bears - if I was Chicago I would trade down and draft Harrison. I would give Fields another year with a better supporting cast. Worst case scenario you have made the offense much better and you draft another QB or find one in FA next year. That said maybe Caleb will be the answer.

Chargers - they got the best HC available. McD will be gone in a year or two having wasted 2 more years of Allen in his prime. Bills win the SuperBowl in 2024 if Harbaugh is the HC.

Bills have done just fine otherwise

On the other end of the spectrum, Atlanta invested in the wrong QB and the wrong HC. They will be terrible again.

The Steelers digressed by adding Wilson.
