I figured we’d take a RB today. Love Ray Davis. He’s elusive, but also is a punishing runner. Admittedly Braelon Allen was the RB I wanted, but Davis is probably better I guess.

I go on record as saying when I heard about the pick and I was bummed. Then I remembered about how in the fall everyone was talking about Keon being an elite draft prospect in the same tier as the top 3-4 guys. Then Florida State lost their QB. Then Keon ran a 💩 40 at the combine, but among the fastest mph in the gauntlet drill. Caught my attention. I’m kind of ambivalent, tbh, but I’m willing to give Beane the benefit of the doubt. Welcome, Keon.

I know very little about golf, but I placed a bet on Scheffler to win and cashed. Also had Homa and Aberg bet to win, and also Cam Smith to finish top 10 (which also cashed). I think I bet $35 and won ~$145.
Anyway, I watched pretty much all weekend long. It was very entertaining. Although my wife was pissed bc I never watch golf.

Groot and Spencer Brown are both physical freaks. Seeing them in person is awe inspiring. Giants among human beings. Throw Josh in there too.

Not me personally, but when I was a kid my parents had seasons to both Syracuse basketball and football. I think they had them from the late 80s until the early 2000s when my father’s health began to decline.

The movie Ricky Stanicky on Prime is sort of cheesy, but I had more than a few genuine belly laughs. Worth a watch if you’re looking for something light.

I’d be thrilled with Darnell Mooney or Curtis Samuel. Then take a WR with the 1st or 2nd pick. Ricky Pearsall or Roman Wilson in the 2nd would be cool.

I don’t mind this deal so much. It is clear that they weren’t going to extend Mitts anyway, and are getting a solid top 4 defenseman that is under contract until the end of next season. While I hate seeing Mitts go, I think the compensation here is pretty freaking solid.

Hockey season just ended for my son, so I have about 4 weeks to enjoy my interests before lacrosse season begins. 😂I’ve been following along and have been to a couple games this season. I did hear that Benny and Red have been butting heads all season. Benny throwing tantrums at practice and in the locker room. Sounds like their relationship had become quite toxic, and Benny was just not a very good teammate. Autry knew he had to cut bait to “reset” the team culture. I’m not sure if there were any other contributing factors, or what was “the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

It’s likely Sedrick either earns the starting OC job in training camp, or he doesn’t make the 53 and they hope to sign him to the PS. He’s just not an OG. Not nearly big/physical enough. I would suspect that he gets every chance to win that staring OC job, as this was clearly a pick directly from Kromer.
