Have been using Skoal/Grizzly wintergreen since high school. I can’t stop now (40 years later). Ugh
I used to crush some Skoal back in my late high school - college days.4 minutes ago, US Egg said:Jr. A lacrosse? Guessing that is some really good lacrosse. Is it a scouted league?
Yes. Top semi pro box in Canada. Juniors is 17-21. Some of our players (more from our senior team) have been drafted into the NLL.
What’s your favorite ZYN flavor?

I like zyn a lot. Don’t smoke at all.
it’s safe as hell. just straight nicotine through the gums. The worry is addiction ofc. however there is no risk of cancer or hypertension that u get with smoking. love the buzz it gives u and is also a good laxative haha.
Really? I’ve read that it restricts the blood vessels. Causes elevated blood pressure.
What’s your top 3? Mine are Spearmint, Wintergreen and Citrus. 😂

I know…I know…I’m an idiot. Nicotine is really, really bad for you. I coached a junior A indoor lacrosse team up in Ottawa for a few weeks this summer. One of the other coaches was popping those ZYN pouches. I tried one finally, freaking loved it, and just started buying them after that.
I’ve been going on a month, and I still only do 3-4 3mg pouches per day. I’ve heard of other people who constantly need to have 2 6mg pouches in their mouth all day long. I’m thinking I’ll probably quit soon.
Anyone else get down with some ZYNies? If so, anyone quit and experience the withdrawal? I’ve read that it’s pretty crappy.

Don’t you want to hear about the nature/severity of Bishop’s injury before you think about moving possibly our best boundary corner to safety? Edwards is week to week. Yeesh!

Listening to reports, Martin has been the clear best punter.
No question, but hasn’t Browning been the holder for Bass during OTAs/TC? -

Has there been any news on the specifics of Bishop's arm injury?
I wasn’t overly concerned initially. Even after seeing a few false reports (trolls) about the nature/severity of Cole’s injury on social media. The report was that his arm was heavily wrapped (I assumed ice), and that he left the field but remained at practice. These were some promising “clues” to me.
Given that nothing has been made public, I’m growing a bit more worried. Especially with the day off today.

For those of you who need CliffsNotes. I read the OP twice and still didn’t fully understand what this was about.

That’s the best place for a bag of cats, anyway. 😋 (Dog guy here.)
I would not be in the same room if that show was on, and my wife concurs. Reality TV, and the “stars” that come from it? Not my thing.
Yeah, those housewives shows are low-grade garbage, IMHO.
Just for the record, before I get lamb-basted here, I don’t condone or encourage ANY cruelty to animals. 😂
I am a dog person too though. 😊

My wife watches that show in the guest bedroom with the door closed. I can’t stand to even listen. Sounds like a bag of cats in the dryer. 😖🤮

One of my friends who’s a few years older than me (around 50) is doing Ozempic. He told me he had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and that may be true, but I think he just wanted to shed some weight. He ended up losing around 30 pounds in just under a year.
He told me that the medicine essentially makes him nauseous when he eats (and sometimes when he just thinks about food), and often he needs to vomit after meals. I found this to be very weird and a little bit alarming. He said when he knows he is going to have a big meal such as out to dinner with his wife or going to a BBQ he needs to skip a dose.
I don’t know about all this, but who am I to judge. He said he feels the best he has felt in 20 years.

So wait... What are you saying? Things your wife usually picks aren't incredible?
They just never wanna do the fun guy things!
I meant that “performance art” stuff like CdS and Blue Man Group isn’t usually my thing. 😂Butt head.

I kind of hated Vegas the last time I visited in the summer time. Just too hot to enjoy anything. The one thing that I did enjoy was eating a crap ton of edibles and going to see the Cirque du soliel Beatles show. I went bc my wife really wanted to see it, but it ended up being incredible.

Are you serious?…….Gin?
I don’t know how anyone can drink that stuff…..except in a pinch.
Gin and tonic or gin and grapefruit juice is my go-to summer time cocktail. -
If I drink more than 8 or 9 gin & tonics that just means that I need to drive with one eye closed so the lines aren’t blurry.

They’re cute … except when they sit on the swim deck of my boat at the marina and relieve themselves. In that instance, I’m all for reducing the duck population. Tried the old owl statue thing to no effect.
I love to eat roast duck. I order it almost every time I see it on the menu. If I could I’d clobber a few of those suckers over the head with a tire iron to take them home and cook them. The little ones are so damn cute though.
These 2 little buggers (no mama duck in sight) were crossing the road from the woods to a pond. I wonder what they were even doing in the thickly forested area across the road. Could that be where their nest is? What do baby ducks eat?

I would prefer to be in the stadium for every single game. Given that I live in Vermont and have two kids that play winter sports (hockey & ski team), however, it is almost impossible to make it to more than one game per season. If I lived closer I would most definitely have season tix.

After I blocked first number (never replied or answered phone) I got a text from a different number.
This number has been blocked as well. I have no idea what he is talking about.
I guess some in thread find this funny but I don't.
I got a second set of text messages last night. Clearly English is not his first language.
It refers to previous texts which I barely saw since I was trying to use cell phone when navigating and blocked sender.
All typos left in (note that they use "Mr". not name so they have no idea who they are sending it to):
- Mr. this is Ralph I am commander and Hitman of the service, I was given your information due too an amount your was supposed to pay to the main owner. Since you was not able to resolver wit the Representative Tony then we have will solve this now with my guys. You family members are being track right now and ir would be sad if your family member have to pay for your bullsh!t.
I checked both numbers and they are connected to a scam pretending to be part of a charity which charity claims they have nothing to do with. I'd list it but I do not want it showing up in search results.
The message continues with a video with some hoodlum type guys showing guns they have, a picture of guy on ground with blood splattered and then a close up of him with hole in head size of axe blade. It looks like CGI to me and most would not be stupid enough to record on video actual killing. There is some writing on paper on ground which I believe is Spanish ".PLES PARA BUJIAS" meaning ".PLES FOR SPARK PLUGS". Pictures are too gross to post.
Second part of text message:
- right now my men are on the way to your address with the order to cut off the heads of you and your family, you deside pay or die
I have received threatening emails from people in past which when domain owner contacted told that mail headers were forged.
Talked to a friend and he said these are probably virtual numbers.
I have no idea what he wants since I deleted "Tonys' text messages as they were coming in and terminated phone calls as well.
Sounds like Jimmy Spags! -

That reminds me……First time to Vegas and we were staying at Caesars Palace. It is hot. VERY HOT out by the pool. Some scantily clad young lady comes around with a silver tray full of frozen grapes. I didn’t know there was such a thing, but that was an exceptional treat I clearly remember a quarter century later. I still do it from time to time at home. You could stick a toothpick in it to get into authentic “popsicle form.”
My kids love frozen watermelon. It kind of has the texture/flavor of Italian ice.-

A lot more deal animals on recent trip to and back from Buffalo.
I suspect the increased heat and decreased water has forced more animals to cross roads to look for food and water.
I was wondering about the increased heat/humidity. Not sure about all areas of the country, but we’ve had rain just about every day here in Vermont. Record rainfalls and flooding on a couple days. Ponds, wetlands, river and streams are all overflowing.
One other possible factor is all the road construction on the chunk of Rt 7 that I drive multiple times/week. They’re replacing one bridge and resurfacing the roads in many areas. That must have the animals all f’ed up.1 hour ago, Fleezoid said:

Been seeing lots of dead porcupines by the side of the road this spring/summer. Coincidence?

They’re cute. Aim for the squirrels, not the ducks. Idiot.
Intetestingly, I’ve never hit a bird until recently. Smoked like 5 of those bast-ahds in the spring. Not proud if it, but why you hate my Subaru Outback so much, birds? -
Was driving home from my son’s lacrosse practice, and two of them zipped right in front of me as I was going around a sharp corner. One made it, but the other I greased. I feel awful. Thoughts and prayers accepted. 🦆 💀

Nicotine Pouches?
in Off the Wall
Posted
To me it’s like having a strong cup of coffee. I’ve never been a regular smoker, but there are times in my life where I would keep a pack of Marlboros in the cabinet and it would last me 6 months. I haven’t had a cigarette in almost 5 years. I definitely used to enjoy chewing tobacco (Skoal), but haven’t done that in over 20 years. This seems to be a fairly safe alternative to both, but I still don’t think it’s good for my body.
