  1. i was posting the link to make sure the journalists learn2code. i don't believe in paying for such things.
  2. https://archive.is/H1kYW <-whats a paywall?
  3. Re: the Leggette situation where he said he was going to be drafted by the Panthers. Teams tell TONS of players they're getting him. Gronk said a bunch of teams said they were going to get him and passed, for example.
  4. we drafted only one guy with a hyphenated name. so tha'ts a plus in my books. #nevertrustthehyphen. Also... i don't mind these mock drafts. it gets us to look at people we may never pay attention to and learn about who's out there.
  5. Does any serious person who has the ability to think critically listen to NPR? I don't know of anyone who enjoys NPR who doesn't mouth pump the Democratic narrative. NPR is just fine but it shouldn't receive federal funding. The problem with truly open left leaning democratic entertainment venues is they do not survive. Specifically on radio. Not when every alphabet on the television carries the same mantra.
  6. He does not itemize. I have told him he needs to work to be able to itemize. But he's stupid. So, tax season will be fun next year.
  7. i was told early in the bills season by a trusted source of first hand knowledge those rumors were not true. i do not think this person was accurate. anyone doing this needs to have the ability to purchase the team as a whole should Pegs want to sell it.

  9. https://nypost.com/2024/04/19/us-news/trans-teen-allegedly-plotted-school-shootings-to-become-famous/ It's clearly a gun problem. not a mental health problem. duh.
  10. Have you heard beyonces new album? Answer to your question is yes.
  11. There is some dude who sounds like words I am not educated enough to use properly so in order to do so I will combine words I know with made up words for the guy I hear a lot: Dorky, nasiable, heliumfucted, self righteous, smarmy, annoying, unlistenable, stupid. The sports books are paying to have it put up. And considering ad rev is down for these things it's just showing how fragile our media is to viewership and oversaturation.
  12. Gambling is destroying everything. Seriously. I know for many it is fun but I have watched it over the last 6 months rip NC apart. It was made legal just after the suoer bowl and every ad now is for some sports site. Radio stations play sports book shows 24/7. Most people at work bet. They'll bet $2 on an Australian middle achool tennis match, Saudi Arabian hockey tournament, Kenyan horse race.... Any damn thing. Their third screens now show live streams of these sports, too. I just cannot believe how it's going and NC is a fraction of the tax that other states are and what I tried to tell these folks are the taxed winnings they get are based off of winning every bet not just the final net total they're ahead. One guy has won over $2k but only netting about $350 income. He doesn't understand no matter how many times I tell him he is going to owe a lot more than he realizes.
  13. they get $600 from EA just to be in the video game at any D1 school its at the point where the value of a college education is minimal, at best. so yes, make the schools give it to the academic students.
  14. this also takes out the belief that justin simmons is an option, which i think he is post june 1
  15. don't want to draft a slot guy early. hopefull pearsell can be had with a trade back.
  16. first and most importantly, i know you didn't call me ignorant. i was more tongue and cheek about the whole labialization of that and other labels. it was satire those players with diabetes are not a player i'd want to invest in. if the bills get him i will support him 100% until he no longer wears the laundry. it's also draft season so nothing can be taken at face value. teams could be trying to inflame this story to make others back off or question the player or teams involved.
  17. the further answers to those questions are simple. no one would draft those players in the first round. maybe not the first 3. i've been called ignorant many times, which is weird because i'm really smart.
  18. it's a business. he is no different than a sports car. and these players go through tons of reviews to find every defect. it is one thing to draft a player with poor wingspan. it's a boneheaded move to buy a player who is facing a lifelong struggle and likely to impact his career. you can say i am crude, crass, lack empathy... but would you want a 5' QB playing? would you be cool with a 340# QB? would you like your kicker to be missing an arm? what about a linebacker who had their colon removed?
  19. If I am buying a million dollar super car I am not going to excuse the factor of it having just 1 defect.
