initial cost estimate of new stadium $1.4 Billion
current cost estimate of new stadium $1.7 Billion
likely final cost estimate of new stadium $2.0 Billion
NY State Contribution $600 million (not part of that "construction costs" is an additional $280 million for maintenance over 30 years)
NFL & Bills Contribution $550 million (of which Pegula's portion is $350 million)
Erie County Contribution $250 million
SUB TOTAL Contribution $1.4 Billion (initial est)
Pegulas are responsible for any and all cost over runs....currently at $300 million and rising.
Projected to raise $200 million thru PSL's
so, if you factor in cost over runs....i say he will contribute $750 - $800 million or 35- 40%

Quick question that I hope you have the answer.
is there a set amount via the funding agreement with State/County/Bills that states a set amount that can raised via PSL? So a cap of say $120M through PSL purchase.
or is it the Pegulas have to fund say $500m( I don’t know the actual #) and if they can raise 100% of through PSLs, that ls great for them!
thanks
from everything i've read....
there is no "set" amount
they have stated publicly a target of $200 mil thru PSL's
there is no "cap" ....they are free to raise as much as they can

how about a real estate analogy (i'm sure this has already been made)
price of the home = PSL one time fee (price varies per location)
all the taxes = price of the yearly ticket (price varies per location)
if you dont pay your yearly taxes, you may lose the house to foreclosure before you sell it
squatter = someone is sitting in your seat....lol

beane likes to trade up
that's why he's so mad about losing that 3rd round comp.....he wanted to use it, now he's gotta use his 2nd, which is not ideal

no.....we don't need drama

As @K-9 would say......."Would they like to have global marketing rights to the entire planet? Sure." But of all NFL teams we still have the largest confirmed stockpile of nuclear weapons in areas we are most beloved. And Canada too.
if this was the game of RISK.....i like tampa's position......lol

no....not a first rounder
i would'nt even use a second rounder
i would use a 4th.....which might move you up 2 or 3 spots

- Bailed out Raiders in AFL days
- Saved the Patriots from going under too
- Left $1.2 billion in his foundation to assist Detroit and BUF
Thanks Ralph! RIP.

The rule requires officials to note two actions: If a defender "grabs the runner with both hands or wraps the runner with both arms" and also "unweights himself by swiveling and dropping his hips and/or lower body, landing on and trapping the runner's leg(s) at or below the knee."

way too many injuries from hip drop tackles
reckless and dangerous....just like a horse collar tackle
will it be hard to apply with consistency from ref to ref....yes, just like lots of other rules

total class act
outplayed his contract almost every year
a great bill
lost a step or two of speed at the end
wish him the best....except of course when he plays us

i agree we have not taken a step back.....
but neither has half the league...
in fact, i think the 2024 team will be better than 2023 and beane isn't even done improving.
need to wait and see how this things shake out for everyone.
but according to neutral las vegas betting odds....bills currently have the 4th best chance to win it....which is pretty darn good, but probably where we were last year.

absolutely !
time to draft WR1 in first round.......prepare for life after diggs

#1 - WR1 (we should be preparing now for life after diggs)
#2- Center (moving McGovern over is not the best idea)
#3- DT ( a RUN stuffer, not a penetrating like oliver)
#4- OT (there is no quality depth) i know u said starters, but i'm not convinced on spencer brown yet.

He has said this. I don’t think it’s affecting his game but he was not on the same page with WRs last year so it makes me wonder.
Most talented QB in the history of the game maybe, but he still has another level to go. I don’t think he has what Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have mentally, especially in the offseason.
(not picking on poster...just that the names brady & mahomes caught my eye)
what josh doesn't have is Hall of Fame Coaching.....that's huge
what josh doesn't have is the best team around him.....that's huge
yes this is a team game and rings matter, but if you just look at the individual contribution to a plays success...josh is the best QB and player in the league.
i fully trust that josh is setting aside the necessary time to stay in shape and improve on his craft.......and still find time to chase pretty girls, play golf and make TV commercials.
we are lucky to have him !

What happens to the PSL after 30 years ?
is it worth zero ? will they start a new PSL for renovations ?
i know the PSL has a life limit of 30 years which lines up with the bills new stadium lease for 30 years.
in an over simplification.....if you paid $30,000 for your PSL isnt it depreciating by $1,000 a year, so that after 20 years you go to sell it, there is only 10 years left on the PSL.....so might the approximate value be $10,000 for the remaining 10 years ? it's possible they appreciate, but i would think not in our market.
