  1. Betting that he has had injuries .....not buying at all that he doesn't care, lack of effort, mailing it in....come on

This guy has been the spark plug for 4 years.

I have been cringing all year at some of the hits he was taking and marveled at how he would pop up in his signature style

Something has been off with him, you can just see it.  He's beat up, but always a gamer - if he can walk, he will play.

Just wished he had caught that one last night.  FK!!!!

  2. I always love the sugar coating that goes on from fans, media, coaches and FO during the draft.  As we know, the reality is that the majority of these picks will not pan out, but that never stops those invested with a "glass half full" outlook.  Thought it would be fun to put it to the board for some comic relief.

    Some of mine are:

"They're going to line him up all over the formation"

"He played this position in college, but can play every position"

"Although he was a late rounder, xxx had him with a 1st round grade"

    Have fun...

Our other non-Diggs WR's are great supporting cast members but cannot take over a game if Diggs is doubled.  If we have a chance for DHop for 2-3 solid years, you take it.  He's still a nightmare to cover with the best hands in the game.  Dude has been on crap teams his whole career.....will elevate in our system.

We become as dangerous as any offense in the league with DHop.  Send the picks.

    Daym is right.

Paul Hembekides on Twitter: "Aaron Rodgers went 80-10 with the Packers when they allowed fewer than 20 points. The Jets allowed 18.6 PPG last season." / Twitter

Sauce Gardner is a scary young man.  Under 200yds/game passing allowed by that D.  We need that 2nd weapon - you can't man-up 2 "uncoverable" WR's....(insert DHop here)

We looked like an elite team the first half of the season.  Not the second half.  Wonder which Bills squad shows up this season.

Our D looked pretty nasty before we lost Hyde/Von.

Tre was not Tre after we got him back - full offseason/camp and he will be back.

Fill the LB hole in draft

    On offense:

    Draft a nasty G (O'Cyrus Torrence)

Please get Hopkins and do NOT let him go to KC

And we will ball with anyone anytime anywhere....bring it.

Rogers performance last year in all major statistical categories  was well below his career average numbers.  He was flat out mediocre in a number of games I saw.  No one knows of course whether 2022 was an anomaly or the beginning of the end for a great player.  It is not unusual for players to suffer a precipitous decline at the end of their useful shelf life in the NFL, especially quarterbacks.  Rogers strikes me as a player who has mentally checked out.  Perhaps he will be revived with his new team, perhaps the skills are intact and he will make a run at MVP in 2023.  He has always been too selfish to be much of a leader so the Jets should not be counting on that.  Personally, I would not bet on a Rogers turnaround.  That said, even 50% of his best self is an upgrade over what the Jets had, so on paper at least, they are better.  They now probably have the second best QB in the division.  They should certainly not be favored over the Bills to win the AFCE, and they are not.

I think he was a year past "being done" w the Packers org.  Losing Adams was a major blow to that offense as well.  He had 2 rookie WR's and Lazard who is a WR2 at best on most teams.  He definitely needed to move on and is now in his prime "win now" years with a stacked team a la Brady.

The Jets are nasty on D.  Under 200 passing ypg allowed.  Sauce island is here for the duration of Josh.  The reality is that they are not going to have to shootout to win most games.

Will the AFC East beat up on each other the way everyone expected the AFC West to do it last year?

Let's hope the Jets are the Broncos

    Miami is the Chargers

    And we're KC

I don't think people realize how average, and sometimes awful, Rogers look last season

They also let a HOF WR go and he had 2 rookies to bring up to speed.
