Franchise and trade. Use the money to get a halfway decent oline.
The tag will be over 19 million. Edmunds could simply sign it and we are screwed cap wise, since we can't pro rate the cap hit over a longer period of time.

I think he makes the team but is a healthy scratch most games. He likely starts next year but shares snaps with Cook. He then moves on after his contract expires. He's a good player who played hurt last year. He will play well this year and next.

If Mac Jones had Buffalo’s weapons I think he’d be a legitimate concern. His arm strength is much talked about, but it’s decent enough, better than a Chad Pennington. He can get the ball to where it needs to be. Stop comparing his arm talent to Josh Allen, it’s not fair to him. And he doesn’t need Allen’s arm strength, he just needs to know where to go with the football, but needs playmakers to be able to do something with it. He lacks those weapons.
He has 2 really good TEs, a strong line, and a solid running game. Jones should play well.

So long as Tremaine is paid like his play dictates and not a top 10 MLB is paid at the position I think Bills fans would be fine with that.
He is a top 10 MLB.

Has the era of real quarterback competitions ended? It used to be that the preseason games were used to determine the starting qb. Maybe Lance's athleticism forced the offensive coordinator to run an entirely different offense that requires more reps and that Jimmy doesn't have the skillset to run.
Looks like Jimmy G will be moved soon.
Yes. Jimmy G would have likely won the battle.

Cafeteria food? I’d be shocked if the same cooks who serve slop to the students are the same ones feeding the Bills.
There dining hall food is really good. I bet it's the same food the students eat.

Taiwan Jones
Isn't he a lock as the Bills special teams captain?

Would the current Bills beat a team made up of entirely drought players?

Jets, Patriots, Dolphins, Steelers, Colts, Jaguars, Commanders, Eagles, Lions, Seahawks, 49ers, Giants all have QBs worse than Baker.

Rousseau or Gabe Davis.

I feel like we talk about Edmunds constantly. I'm kind of sick of discussing the guy.

If was going to get a big money deal you think he would have gotten it by now. Maybe teams want to see if he has recovered from his injuries or if he is still a top CB.

Any chance that Gilmore comes back to Buffalo on a 1 year prove it deal?

TJ Watt and isn't even close.
He has a huge contact now, while great talents like Chase are not a burden to a team's salary cap.

No team is taking that contract when they can wait for him to be released, unless the Browns eat a large chunk of it.
There isn't a guarantee that you will get him if he is cut. If you have the cap space trading a late round pick guarantees his services.

Aren't Bates and Williams fine for now? Spend the cash elsewhere.

We went from 13 seconds to host an AFC Championship game to talking about fricken comp picks within two months. I hate comp picks because it rewards teams for letting players walk. It's never made sense to me in a league where they have a hard salary cap with even the cheapest owners having to adhere to the minimum salary cap spending.
I like it. It gives smart teams an advantage and now that the Bills are good they should start to benefit from it. It doesn't prevent you from signing players who were cut so it's possible to sign free agents while adding comp picks. The Rams are the best at it.

its got to at least be the comp pick you get a year later when he walks then
expiring contracts are friendly in creating comp picks to offset trade cost.Correct. If you gave up a 3rd to get him you might get a 3rd round compensatory pick back if he played well this year and signed a large contract elsewhere.

Stafford is better than Goff. But he's not two 1st round picks better, not at his age.
If they win the Super Bowl it was an amazing trade. I'd give up 20 1st rounders for a Bills Super Bowl win.

The Bills beat both of these teams right?

I think he would be much cheaper to re-sign now than after next season. If he has another season similar to this season, he will get signed for a lot of cash. Do the Bills have the cap space though?

I feel like you create your Board then wait to see what happens. If there are 7 players you love and the Bills are on the clock, trade down. If the 19th pick was just made and only one player you love is left, trade up. There are too many variables to have a pre-determined strategy of targeting positions or trades.

Josh will run less when he gets older, but wll still be really good.

Funny how these other OCs figure out how to get their Elite talent the ball but Diggs got taken out of the KC game🤔
Did we need to force feed Diggs the ball? The offense was on fire. If Diggs presence allows for everyone else to get open than he is worth every penny.

Just Gonna Say It: Von Miller was very good, but not great this year.

I think he was excellent. He had close to a sack a game and made key plays at the end of games. He even played the run pretty well.
