These are two separate questions which makes it hard to submit a single answer. I will not be installing Tapatalk.
I do not know of a feature that allows for a larger font size as of now.

I took it down. Either the birthdays were fake or in the age of identity theft - real ones shouldn't be posted (just in case a poster's identity is revealed).

That is probably correct. Please touch the dot or star to go to last unread.
There really isn't a separate mobile view anymore. It's really just a rearrangement (with some items hidden) of the desktop layout. That is why that feature has the same functionality across mobile and desktop.

Good question SDS! Why yes you can...
@joesixpack or maybe @Boyst62 would be interested in this feature... You just use the "@" symbol and type their username immediately after with no space.
