Sad thing nowadays, is if you make a mistake, even if you completely turn your life around, there will be people that will forever hold you accountable for past mistakes and can never forgive. Pretty sad way to live

This.   And what how old was he at the time like 24?  As you say that's an awful way to live

It's simply vile and indecent to bring up something like that at a time like this. Fella was being a good father and his little girl dies with him. Anything other than heartfelt sorrow is a sign of a sick soul.

While I personally do not think he was guilty, and that it was consensual, just as it played out in court... lets not down play "rape" as some "innocent mistake".

Quote a rap song in a tweet with an N-bomb when you were 14? Sure, it should be forgotten.

Rape someone in a hotel, or bar bathroom, or whatever... you probably deserve the label.

But let's move on since there are bigger things here, and yall are the only ones bringing it up in this thread.

Not that it really matters, but I wonder if this will spread to the pro bowl players as the game goes on

There is footage of the players in the Nuggets Rockets game finding out. I am having a hard time holding it together right now

27.... ultimately, if you believe he forcibly raped a young woman at work, it’s an all around weird situation to glorify him today. You never want to bash a guy in a tragic story like dying with his daughter.... but there’s something likewise a bit gross about celebrating a rapist if you believe the story. And Being 24 wouldnt excuse what he was accused of, if he did it.

its the weird thing in celebrity. We get likable marketable products and in his case it looks like he had a lot of good in him. But hard to know behind the curtain.

ultimately I’ll opt for sending condolences to his family and not judging too harshly those that may be impacted or triggered by his past accusations.

Maybe, but it was a long time ago and is pretty inconsiderate to his family to talk about that right now in the face of tragedy. Nobody is perfect and he seems to have grown and turned his life around. Past is the past. Forgive and forget

Damn, sucks to see that list keep growing...

Besides Kobe and daughter and her teammate/parents, any word on who the other 2-4 were?

The police chief said they wouldn't put the names of the passengers out until the coroner identify them all and the familys are informed
