  1. Past hour
  2. But that take is just wrong if you look at the All-22. Everyone wants to blame the receivers-- and that is now gospel that they suck-- but they are hardly all of the problem. Josh had plays with easy throws to open guys for first downs--looking right at them-- and did not make the throw. Inexplicable.
  3. Don't be shocked it he retires to be a husband vs QB. Remember he said something about he showing him he is more than just a QB. Remember, she means more than normal to him. He was sneaking around with hailee while still with Brittney so she has a big hold on our boy
  4. I would give up the farm for Carnell Tate , WR problem solver
  5. This is all stuff we could see in the game. The big question for me is why? Why do the Bills look like they are hungover in some games in the McD era? If this was the early 90s Bills it might be because they actually were! But this group? what is the excuse? Entitled players with little accountability? They didnt study any film? The coaches didnt study any film? Or maybe they desperately need a coach who is going to inspire them with a "win one for the Gipper" speech like Marv used to (not likely). On Sunday I was hoping for someone to get mad. Just 2 years ago we had Diggs getting in people's faces but now we have just a bunch of people on the sidelines looking shell shocked when things are going south.
  6. Title aptly fits. Josh Allen Breakdown 😞
  7. What is McD exactly , is he just the CEO or what . One thing I did notice Sunday was Varbel interacting with his players, talking to the Defense and Maye. I love that is a coach, Bill did it alot in NE also. I never see McD do any that stuff Ben Johnson and Mcvay does it also always engaged with his team .
  8. Anyone know where Terry's yacht is? That team looked like they had a Jim Kelly sized hangover.
  9. Doesn't matter how many you build if Private Equity immediately buys them at 50% above listing in straight cash.
  10. He's got to be frustrated. Players are human, and if he knows what we know, that this leadership can't bring this team over the hump, it's hard to stay motivated day in and day out when you know the coaching staff and general manager can't get you to the promised land. I don't think he has gone hollywood or anything. I think he knows that we won't get there and it's showing with his play and mentality. Totally me reading into it, but to me that is a look of a man who knows the can't win a super bowl with this regime.
  11. 🏴‍☠️ sail the pirate waters, matey. click if you dare.
  12. Allen is in a funk. That other guys suck and he knows that but he’s also playing inconsistent and not elevating us the way he can. He needs to run more, scramble more to make things happen, and get in the game. A third of all Chiefs are broken plays that Mahomes makes happen—Allen needs to put on the cape and these WRs need to work on scramble rules execution. Wish it weren’t so but that’s the only way forward. The good news is, Allen is fully capable and those plays break defense’s souls when done right on 3rd.
  13. Paul Crewe Allen
  14. I'm really starting to wonder if Haillee's mental health struggles with the changes happening being married that she talked about aren't starting to negatively effect Josh.
  15. Army 2002-06 incl. Iraq 04-05.
  16. So your self admitted long shot hypothesis is "Blame McDermott". How refreshing. I have a hypothesis as well, one that I happen to thing is far more likely. You take a good kid, you put him in high school. He's physically dominant above his peers. Doesn't have to put in the work and can still shine due to physical gifts. Then put him in college. He's not as physically dominant, but enough where he can still get noticed. Keeps getting told how awesome he is and after a while he buys into it. Finally that kid gets drafted into the pros. His physical stature no longer can dominate. Oh, he's still a good kid and all, but he never learned the work ethic to succeed. His coaches and even some of his teammates try and motivate him behind the scenes. However because they don't tell him he's amazing like he's been told his whole life, he can't handle the criticism. He stops caring. He stops working. He falls behind players like Shavers. Puts out terrible effort and is possibly late to meetings and distant when he is there. The coach even tries benching him as a lesson. Coleman withdraws further. He cares a lot less. He hasn't learned the tools over his lifetime to cope with needing to work to be the best. He has a very short NFL career and is just happy to have made it.
  17. Bottom line Josh isnt right in he head right now. We have all seen it and talked about it, you can see it in how he plays and the look on his face. I think Hailee has him messed up, AND the lack of WR talent has gotten to him. Im gonna double down and say he retires sooner than later.
  18. He is not leaving Ole Miss sorry guys Matt Patrica is run the D , anyone see OSU Defense lately.
  19. Another instance of mutual responsibility. Yes, under Biden, there were walkbacks and probably some periods of shutdown, but that's only part of the story. Similar approaches were taken under Trump, and it's reasonable to conclude that had Trump taken COVID seriously (no masks, no social responsibility, taking the vax, then hinting against it, following his Lysol idiocy and the friggin charade on the rotunda saluting a helicopter after he damn near died of the virus) then we would have had fewer restrictions later. Trump's inflation, frankly, is a continuation and an exacerbation of the Trump/Biden inflation that started in 2020 and that still has not been adequately addressed. Now, Trump is compounding the problem by suggesting more free money (something that's free, of course, has no value) following his tariff/tax hike on American consumers. All of the jive about "economic boom" and "increasing supply" isn't going anywhere when consumer confidence is in the pits. Add in AI job cuts, and an otherwise contracting job market, and problems are on the horizon. Meanwhile, the sycophants follow along with whatever crazy idea a guy who, if not in the public eye, probably would have issues keeping his driver's license comes up with. The whole thing is madness.
  20. Things that would help the Bills passing game, IMO. 1. A big, physical, #1 WR who can block AND take the top off a defense (example: Mike Evans). I know, what offense wouldn’t that help, right? But since the Bills only play one WR with 3 TE so much it would really help them for that WR to be good. Right now it’s Coleman. 2. Kincaid staying healthy. He’s their only downfield threat right now. 3. True speed on the outside. Multiple players. Maybe they get them a big play, but if not at least they can force defenses into deep zones and open things up for the TEs underneath and the running game. 4. A new OC.
  21. Good on him, hope he gets it figured out.
  22. These guys are just guys, after all.
  23. We only get rescues now, so we keep whatever name they come with. Sometimes we shorten it. Our current Chihuahua/Beagle mix, her shelter name was Chimichanga. We shortened it to "Chimi." Our first dog as a couple was a Scotty/Schnauzer we got as a pup. We called him Angus, or "Ang" for short. He was a terrific dog. Died way too young. My only dog growing up was terrier mix. We called her "Kukla" from the puppets on the Ed Sullivan Show Kukla, Fran & Ollie. My mom was Russian and Kukla means doll.
  24. The 4th and 1 was funny. Cook hasn’t been used on 3rd or 4th down all year until that one play against KC and they ran that roll out to him in the flat. So here they are on 4h and 1 against Miami with Cook in the game, Mia call timeout to get set and when the play is run the gobbled up Cook in the flat. So predictable
  25. https://www.nfl.com/news/eagles-jaire-alexander-stepping-away-from-football-cb-to-determine-playing-future "Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jaire Alexander is stepping away from football to get right physically and mentally, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday. The 28-year-old CB will then decide on his playing future after the break, per Garafolo." Interesting, I wonder what's going on.. he's been in the league for some time I remember the Packers-Bills game in 2022 where him and Diggs were fighting all night long.. something funny to see
  26. https://buffalonews.com/sports/professional/nfl/bills/article_21980ceb-bcfc-4e60-a920-42fc17996fcc.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=email&utm_campaign=user-share Scathing analysis-- "While this game was difficult to watch, I hadn't anticipated the depth of trouble." I cannot do the analysis justice because there is so much, but I will highlight: Brady Game Plan-- Seemed to want to prove the Bills could throw the ball around the field instead of sticking to what worked against KC-- use Cook. But overall, there were lots of plays that could have been made, but Allen inexplicably did not execute. Allen-- "Allen's performance was below anything I've graded in his career." It was mind boggling. Terrible reads, passing over open receivers he was looking at, and simply not staying in-system. On the end zone pic, the play call was perfect against Cover 0, he had three good options but took none of the, and on option 4 he threw a terrible pass to Shavers. Josh's mind was clearly elsewhere on Sunday. O-Line-- Terrible lack of effort and execution. McGovern simply whiffed on blocks, and Dawkins looked like he could give a s$$t on some plays. No wonder Cook had some trouble running. Offensive miscues crush D late-- After Allen's fumble which basically ended the game. The D then collapsed. Not an excuse, simply a fact according to Kubiak. Kubiak's conclusion is better than anything I can paraphrase: "[All-22] reveals more examples of poor execution and effort from Bills offense. There was a lack of desire and ferocity, a lack of mental focus, and a lack of guardrails to keep Allen within the contours of his responsibility on each play." Read it and weep. Behind BN paywall.
