How many users are on your ignore list?
BillsFanNC replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
My ignore list is long but the vast majority are either long gone or temporary sock puppet accounts no longer active. Billsfuk.c, Roundy, Finding, C-section, Tibstain and Quack among the regular leftist morons. -
I think it is as simple as he wasn’t a fan of the offensive direction of the team.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

Howie is the best out there right now. Now that's someone who you can say is playing 4D chess. Dude trades for Phillips, who if he leaves them in FA they at least recoup the 3rd rounder they traded him for! -

No it's probably due to not enough time to actually physically tackle in practice They're in the NFL.. so people think that they should have that down to a science Not realizing that not consistently practicing tackling, make your tackling worse... These guys rarely tackle during practice week during the season So their form and constant conditioning to Big impacts is down from what it was 20 years ago... Once the season starts they are rarely tackling in practice -

The mechanic on the Dukes of Hazzard?? 🤣 -
I see, thanks. I was assuming that the inordinate number of injuries on this team came from physical (but apparently) ineffective practices.

Damn these white people

You don’t want to risk getting caught, slim as those chances appear to be. Best to start practicing a new stride. -

Slime, Tibs and Kemp. Kemp hasn't posted in about a year and a half so I took him off the list. -
1.) With the return to practice of T.J. Sanders and the return from injury of Daquan Jones, in conjunction with Larry Ogunjobi coming off of suspension, and having Deone Walker (without even getting into the development of former 2nd Round Pick Phidarian Mathis or Jordan Phillips, both also on the roster) - DT is no longer an issue for us. When we were down Oliver, Jones, and Sanders is when we would have made that kind of move. We're fine there now. Where we need help is Defensive End, after the season ending injuries to Michael Hoecht and Landon Jackson and the release of Kingsley Jonathan from the Practice Squad. 2.) Christian Wilkins is a mental case. On top of the what we heard of him creating issues in the locker room (of which what we heard probably only scratched the surface), he also told his team to go F itself during injury rehabilitation - choosing to do whatever he wanted over team doctors orders. He was such a problem in the friggin' Raiders locker room, that they decided eating upwards of FIFTY million in Dead Cap was better than having him in the building. The league is filled with teams that either are lacking talent at DT or in dire need bc of injuries. And not a *single* team in the entire NFL has so much as brought him in for a visit. That speaks enormous volumes.

The amount of practice time they get to actually practice tackling Been down across the league for a decade because of the CBA and how little they can do contact practice Compare that to like Nick Saban at Alabama who's practices would be tougher than 90% of their games.. you don't see tackling problems -
Just some final clarifications...first of all, NOONE is saying that a 50 year Mortgage is a great idea, or better than a 30-year loan. We're not comparing it to a lower duration loan, we're comparing it having to alternatively pay high rents (which is just as thrown away as Interest cost) or not be able to afford a home. Secondly, Home Ownership is a great investment when IRs are trending down, as they have for the last 40 years. Not as good as when they are going up, from an asset appreciation standpoint, as they have been lately (already owning your home when rates are soaring is AWESOME, however). But that's not really why you buy a home in the first place, it's a tangential benefit... Thirdly, there are various intangible benefits to owning a home vs renting...in general, you're going to find better neighborhoods and schools owning vs. renting, so that may drive some new homeowners to tackle. the 50-year plan for now, with plans to refi when the rates collapse during The Great Trump Recession. Lastly, and I thought I'd made this point already about this being the worst homebuying market because BOTH rates AND prices are high (as opposed the 1970s when rates were atrocious, but prices were rock-bottom)...but let me explain how I KNOW this is the worst housing market... A couple of years ago, my bank Chase found itself so upside down in it's loan with me (2.87% Fixed for 25 years) that they actually offered me the following: cut my payment in half each month and pay twice, 1st and the 15th, and it will cut my duration from 25 to 21.5 years... This is truly unprecedented...Banks HAVE offered to allow payments "every two weeks" but the faster amortization comes from the fact that you're making an extra payment every year (26 bi-weekly payments vs. 12 monthly) every year...in this case, the bank is giving me the benefit of bi-weekly amortization which just means they're incrementally getting some of their money back faster (every two weeks)...when I spoke to the Mortgage Banker he was like, yeah, they've never done this so it's a good deal. They are effectively adjusting their amortization schedule for me because the prior 4 years absolutely destroyed this rate/price relationship. So, I don't think it's worth the indignation about the 50-year...nobody is saying it's a "great deal"...SOME people would maybe decide it's the "best deal" so they can get in a house with their kids (if anyone is still doing that) and get the party started, and hopefully refi the loan in a couple years at a bit of cost but good deal long-term. The reality is that your vote matters Cheers.

Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?

Yes if you can block up that 8-man box a guy like cook doesn't need much room to operate Everybody just needs to execute though -

Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?
EmotionallyUnstable replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here is a cut up of an example of how a condensed formation, this with a heavy personnel, is intentionally clogging the box. Here we see a heavy formation out of 22 personnel (Hawes, Knox, Gilliam, Cook). This is essentially a weak side mid zone that almost pops. We are 8 v 8 here in the box, and if Knox can get his head across the safety who rolls in late (with the motion) it’s Cook vs Corner and a lot of green grass to work with. The flow here in the zone is perfect. Everybody working in unison here, good double to the inside backer and Gilliam with a nice seal on the edge. The scheme here is exactly what I’ve been referencing up thread. They are intentionally bringing bodies to the party, but this is what happens when 1 guy doesn’t execute. It gets blown up and we think the scheme is bad. Nothing wrong here with this design IMO, in fact, I really like it. I just don’t like the 17 million dollar player getting beat across his face.
