I lived in Section V for over 30 years, left around 2008. Can recall many years the regular season games started Labor Day and weekend ended around Columbus Day weekend, then sectionals started and usually the state championship was over Thanksgiving weekend, think they played like 7 regular season games. Live in NC now and the season there starts a week earlier and most years the state championship would end the weekend before Christmas. Same in Florida and I'm sure Texas follows a similar schedule. Sounds like NY has extended their season some from what was played when i left in 2008, but still can't compete wit these other states in length of the season and the more games you play, over time, players improve.

I think Bosa might have to spend the rest of his career on 1 year deals like Clowney. Teams aren't going to trust him to stay healthy enough to warrant anything more than that. Within that context yeah I'd bring him back on a 1 year deal since he costs $7.2M against the cap even if we don't bring him back. But if we bring him back we have to give him less snaps and save him for critical pass rush situations.

Yeah, Duke, Abacab, and Genesis were the sweet spot for me. Before that was too abstract. After was too MTV pop. That said, The Lamb Lies Down is still a favorite.
