Kill Everybody --- Illegal Order?
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Absolutely, though what was amazing was the scope of the problem and how it snuck up on the medical profession. Just goes to show when you put a profit motive out there it often just comes back to $$$. At the same time though, I’m certain there are more than a few family members of addicts living and dead wishing the doc who got their family members hooked had gotten the blowed up treatment before they ever suggested/prescribed anything. -
Its OK for the Bills to be a run-first team
Niagara Dude replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't mind winning games running the ball, but i do believe we need to reestablished a down the field passing threat or guys are just going to come closer and closer to the line before the snap. You cannot think your going to play against offences like the Steelers that don't score and expect to keep up by running on first and second downs. It's a passing league , that is why the teams with the top QB'S are always on top -

a run-first team is fine. The issue is that when we need to pass (or even want to) there is likely no WR open. We need a downfield threat to complement the run. -
I believe the line opened at 6 or 5.5 so it seems the money is coming in on the Bengals if it's at 4.5

I'm not into the flexing of games. Not only does it potentially screws fans over, it supports the narrative that the NFL only cares about certain markets. Take GB for instance. They're already over exposed, and up until this past week they hadn't really beat anybody of significance either. If they move the Ratbirds-Steelers to primetime I won't watch.

We should be careful reading too much into this game. After the Texans game we were wasting Allen's prime, the coach's message was stale, Allen needed weapons, etc. That was 10 days ago. Now after smashing the Steelers we're the 85 Bears. Not many realize just how bad the Steelers actually are. They are 6-6 because NE and Indy threw up all over themselves and turned the ball over again and again and again. And NE still could have won that game. They also played the Bengals twice without Burrow and gave up 30+ to Flacco in a loss. It'll become apparent once the Ravens hammer them twice and they go on to lose a bunch down the stretch. I'm glad we won, but let's realize that the opponent basically gave up during the game because their offense cannot score 10 points.

I guess it depends on a lot of things. If the Bills can win the division (unlikely) I want the Chiefs out so I’d root for the Texans. If the Bills are going to be a WC and likely the 5 or 6 seed, then I’m rooting for the Chiefs. I think there is a strong possibility that Houston can still win that division and would likely be the 3 seed and we just can’t seem to win there. If the Chiefs win and the Bills are 5 or 6 and the Chiefs are 7 then fine . They’d have to win 2 road games just like us and if we meet in the Title game KC would come to Buffalo. Who knows how it plays out, let’s see where it lies at the end of the season. I just want Pittsburgh to somehow win the North that would make all of this a lot easier

I am more concerned about containing Mayes and his receivers. NE doesn't run great, but they give Maye all sorts of time. And their receivers are always open. I would load up and rush 5 on every play from all different angles. A couple of big shots on Maye is what's needed. Teams almost never send the house anymore. I think if a team started using the 46 defense of yesteryear, it would take some time for offenses to adjust. You just can't drill the QB under the chin anymore like the 85 Bears did constantly. But you can still bring heat. I am surprised that no DC's study that, and come up with a modern version. Instead they lay back and play a shell. Good offenses will bleed you to death like the Pats do. And then take shots over the top when you bring LB's up on the short stuff. I don't like Trey White against either the Bengals or Pats. They will target him.

this thread is SPICY. lol It's quite a read I say give her the memorial towel back if at all possible. For starters I wouldn't have that steel pukes thing in my house. Secondly the optics are horrible if true. we ARE better than that Why would any self respecting bills fan want it though? I say hawk tuey. Not in MY house. Nope! m

Here is KC's schedule Texans Chargers at Titans Broncos at Raiders They should win the Titans and Raiders games but the other three aren't that easy.
-
Heading into week 14, nobody would have forseen the number 1 seeds going into the week as being Chicago and NE. Five more weeks to go. Denver cannot afford to slip up against the Raiders this week with the Pats having their bye in the current battle for the number 1 seed.

Why can't we do the same with VandeMark? He will do just as well as Dawkins at this point in their careers. But agree with your premise that we need to come in takings shots down the field. If I am Al Golden the DC for Cinci, I am certainly loading the box. And the Bills had best be prepared. If not, fire Brady at halftime. (I would absolutely love that.)

True- New England has already wrapped up the division unless they lose to the jets or dolphins last two weeks. Need to have Miami something to play for besides pride. -
I want KC in the playoffs, and I want to beat them. BTW, they are not totally out of it even with a loss this week. Too many are prisoners of the moment, like the AFC teams will all finish with 3-4 losses and some 10-7 or 11-6 team won't make it. Just mathematically there are a good number of losses coming to that group of teams. Every game played between AFC leaders means 1 loss someone has to take.

I wish this offense was built more like the early 90's teams. They would run it with Thurman, but Kelly could also make big plays in the passing game with Reed and Lofton to throw too. Allen doesn't have that option. -
Hard-core cheering for the Texans. Unless they overtake the Jaguars they'll be coming to Buffalo in the playoffs. Road Houston and Home Buffalo who won't be on four days rest means that Thursday Night chaos won't repeat itself. Houston is not the same team on the road. People are really shell shocked by that Houston defense even though it was a road short week game. Short weeks favour the home team and the defensive team. Bills will adjust to that Houston defense. I dont predict anything more than 21 points but they'll adjust. Meanwhile that Houston offense is just straight up awful and it isn't gonna be easy for them in January in Buffalo. KC is hands down the most frightening team in the AFC if you're a Bills fan. You dont want them making the dance.

10 days ago the sky was falling because the Texans dominated the Bills offense. Now we're a Super Bowl team whose running game cannot be stopped. I'm always happy with a W but people have gone way too far overboard because of a bad Steelers team. The offense scored 19 points, even with all the running success. Luckily, Pittsburgh's offense is so bad they can barely score 1 TD per game. Against good teams with potent offenses that is going to be tough. -
Week 15, the SNF of Min at Dal seems like a candidate to be moved? I understand that Dallas is a big market. Agree on the week 16 SNF being changed.

Week 14 games with AFC playoff implications
TheFunPolice replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I want KC in the playoffs and I want to slay the dragon. But there are some AWESOME weeks of football coming up for fans of the sport in general, in addition to a bunch of big games for the Bills. I've been saying it for weeks, but there are a lot of losses to be earned in the AFC coming up. So far, these teams at the top have been feeding on bottom feeders or NFC teams. But now someone has to lose these games, and the AFC playoff picture is going to become wide open. Everyone in the AFC can't stay with 3 or 4 losses when they all play each other, sometimes twice, in the next handful of weeks.
