  1. Past hour
  2. Wouldn't this type of play be more susceptible to mistakes since it requires more individuals to execute than the more standard 11 or 12 personnel setup? Don't get me twisted here, we've seen how effective the Bills can be out of the heavy set. I think the Bills need to be more effective in the standard personnel groupings though, because they allow for more improvisation when we're not working all working in unison well (like against the Dolphins).
  3. Yea Josh was red flushed and look gassed. That Miami heat and humidity will wilt northern teams. Should’ve stayed with Cook who played there …and so did Coleman!!??
  4. Beane might be trash but WGR definitely is! Especially the morning show and shoop!
  5. I have my own theory on what happened based on what we have been told and the timeline of certain events. Goes a little like this. I firmly think that Beane had a deal in place with Miami's former GM, Chris Grier with the terms that we saw. I think once Grier went to Ross to inform him of the trade that Ross disagreed and this along with the tension of the season they have had, led them to "mutually part ways". After the firing Beane called back and kind of got the run around after being told it's a done deal. I think Miami strung things out long enough that Buffalo didn't have a great chance to pivot to someone else with enough time to make a deal that made sense without making a severe overpay. Like I said, I see Beane moving on Waddle as an admission of his mistake. I'm HOPING that is is an indication that he will be very active either getting a top WR, or moving up the board to draft one. With the schedule we still have to play and how we looked, we could be starting in the 18-25 pick range. A move up the board from that point wouldn't shock me
  6. I just want to share something I saw yesterday from Cover 1 guys. Bernard is playing hurt right now. I don't think it's any shock, and its its own problem, but he didnt just become a bum overnight at least. Id been really down on that one as of recent. Im assuming theres been so many injuries they've made him push through, but he had zero explosion and clearly a limp of sorts on the play they showed.
  7. The Elam situation was a bit different. He at the very least worked his butt off. Coleman sucks and cant be bothered to show up on time for his job or work hard once he is at it.
  8. We don't have a passing game, so maybe that could be good.
  9. Allen, as I have said all season, seems to be off. His reads are ignoring open receivers and when he does throw more often than not his passes are off. To me, it seems his mechanics are off due to his change of throwing or a lingering effect of his elbow injury. I have injured right elbow my right elbow years ago and it flares up once in a while. Second point is QB play is mentally taxing and it looks like he is struggling out there. Not sure how you can overcome this in midseason. Keep playing him and maybe reduce his options to three? The offense as a whole needs to execute and excel. Stop waiting on Allen to put on his cape.
  10. I agree. The pats have tons of money to spend and we really don't. That's also going to help the Pats "close the gap". Maybe that gap is already closed. Maybe next year they will clearly be better with another offseason of drafting and acquisitions. It's going to be a rivalry for sure. The pressure is on.
  11. Ongoing Judicial Coup Proves Alito, Thomas Were Right About Weak SCOTUS Injunction Ruling by Shawn Fleetwood Less than five months ago, Associate Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas warned that the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Trump v. CASA, limiting lower courts’ use of nationwide injunctions, failed to address loopholes open to abuse by left-wing activists and judges. (snip), the two senior justices have been proven right. Yale Law School Professor E. Garrett West praised the Supreme Court’s CASA decision as “a brilliant vindication of the formalist argument that says universal injunctions are totally impermissible” under America’s constitutional framework. However, he noted, “the bad news is that it practically will make almost no difference with respect to the functional problems created by the universal injunction.” https://thefederalist.com/2025/11/11/ongoing-judicial-coup-proves-alito-thomas-were-right-about-weak-scotus-injunction-ruling/
  12. This is going to be an interesting offseason for sure. It does feel like this team has regressed this year. With the Pats getting better Beane has to have a good offseason with the draft and FA. We (fans) say this every year, but he has got to find a #1 WR. They need another elite level weapon on offense to help Allen and Cook.
  13. If the season series is tied with the same regular season record, does it go to division record? NE opponents left: Bengals,Jetsx2, Miami, Baltimore, Giants, Buffalo. Bills opponents left: TB, Steelers, Bengals, Eagles, Jets,NE, Texans, and Browns. We need to beat them and have NE slip up vs Jetsx2 & Miami. It does look like both teams will face a Burrow led Bengals team.
  14. A lot of SHAMEFUL takes here IMO wut??? 23/26 last week did everyone forget how this team performed against KC??? Even SB winning teams have a garbage game or 2.
  15. Remember a few weeks back when we were to coast to the 1st seed?
  16. True. We were Super Bowl favorites 4 days ago.
  17. The look on Allen's face or All-22-- which to believe. Hmm.
  18. That would easier to do if Brady would take some pages out of Daboll, and Beane would get his head out of… , and stop neglecting WR. This has been going on for 5+ years. Brady is also not utilizing Moore and Samuel correctly. Get these guys schemed downfield and once Palmer is ready should be some alternating guys with Shakir DOWNFIELD. Every loads up on us as they know exactly what we’re going to do. Ugghh!
  19. And to think, this is considered a much more player-friendly league than it was 20-30 years ago. Now, there's a big emphasis on player health and safety, both physical and mental, when back then, trying to take a QB or WR's head off was looked at as just part of the game and what happened to them off the field wasn't really any of their concern. There's some that say the league has been hurt by these rule and policy changes, but they were necessary. Like you said, these are human beings, not rock 'em sock'em robots, who have lives and who also need to have lives after football.
  20. This is a GREAT analysis by Jim who always does a great job and often has marveled at how great Allen can be. The bottom line is that Josh is simply not playing within the system like he did all last year and the half season when Brady took over. He's not taking the easy outlets, he's indecisive, he is impatient, his fundamentals and footwork are poor again. The reasons for this need to be figured out. This is more than a slump. It's very surprising. I didn't expect him to play at last year's level, but not this kind of backslide. It is very puzzling.
