  1. Past hour
  2. 💯 agree! They are playing hard and for the most part they aren’t barely beating most of the teams they should beat they are dominating them.. been few games in this stretch I was worried they may lose outside of Cincy.
  3. He is legit, I know some Bills fans live in denial, but NE has turned the corner and have a good QB
  4. I am considered on this board a McDermott apologist, I consider myself a realist, but them's the breaks. I'll continue to believe the lack of top end talent around Josh has let us down more than the coaching. But this year has not been acceptable, in lots of ways, and I think depending on how it ends there is a very real case for making a change. I kind of get there through Beane though. I both believe these two are a package deal and believe that is how you should operate in the NFL UNLESS you have a stud General Manager who proves they should get the keys to the castle - and we do not. You hire a GM and a HC who are aligned and then you ride or die by them as a regime. I think Beane's seat should be red hot. And I mean red hot. He is the guy who has spent the least draft capital on receivers in the league during his reign, he went on the radio and very publicly owned that and ridiculed anyone who dared question it and he needs to be accountable for that failure. There is no case for retaining McDermott once you get to firing Brandon Beane IMO. If you are doing it, clean house and let a new regime have a shot with Josh's back 9. I, like you, doubt this happens this year unless they really collapse from here. But there are definitely situations where I can conceive of myself thinking it should.
  5. here you go buddy have a snickers
  6. I suspect Hawes is not only a great blocker, but considering he went to both Yale and Ga Tech, He's probably among the smartest guys on the entire roster. Wouldn't be surprised if he turns into a head coach somewhere along the line. I remember a mean tight end named Ditka was a pretty good coach at one time.
  7. Although you’ve touched on the point of resume, your take doesn’t really give enough weight to the context of their respective careers. Perhaps Maye’s performance looks better now, but this is typical of players having their breakout seasons. Josh Allen’s highlights from the 2020 season are insane, and it’s the season in which he had his most passing touchdowns and total touchdowns in a season. Patrick mahomes had 52 total tds in his second season, which he hasn’t really gotten close to since. Lamar had 43 his second season, which he only topped once (last year). Hell, I remember Carson Wentz looking like a future hall of farmer in his second season. Maye is looking great this year, but he doesn’t have years of having to adjust to defenses that have figured out his (and his OCs) tendencies, of playing against division rivals 10+ times, of having to push through the inevitable lulls of a NFL career. It’s not taking anything away from Maye, but takes like this completely disregard the context necessary to determine a qb’s performance.. And none of this even touches on the fact that in 3 of the 4 Bills games that were lost, they looked like a steaming pile of dog poop, top to bottom. All factors considered, I’d take Josh all day, this season or any other.
  8. Very similar situation to “look at me, anonymous internet people. I’m a winner!”
  9. Pitt O looks beyond bad they look like NE O 2023 bad.. Ravens win easily Indy @ Jax that could go either way division games are always hard but I’m going Indy here Come on Denver wins in a cake walk.. Vegas is bad bad Miami v jets who cares! But I’ll say Jets just because Tua due for a 4 pick game again Houston v KC I am sadly going Houston that D scares me more than any team in the AFC I rather see the chiefs win but Mahomes gonna be running for his life..
  10. The best thing the Patriots did (and this goes for Maye too) is hire Vrabel. The guy is a great coach and his players play HARD for him. They were ready to run through a wall last night. And Jackson dart felt it.
  11. Maye is legit, you could see it coming last season. But I don’t think they are as good as their record shows this season. Hopefully the Patriots rising will wake Beane up and realize we can’t coast to a division championship every year. Maybe this will make us better in the long run.
  12. Isn't this just following the exact same script as the Titans with Vrabel in the Tannehill era? Regular season darlings, winning games with above average QB play (nothing gaudy numbers wise but solid regardless) and a stout defense, squeaking out some wins they probably didn't have any business getting. Then they get bounced early in the playoffs. Vrabel's done that like 3-4 times already. I need to see more before I believe it's legitimate like the record says it is. Maye is probably a top 12 QB though. Probably somewhere near Herbert. Anyone who puts him above Allen, Mahomes, or Jackson is crazy though.
  13. Imagine how good the run game would be if they DIDN'T run the same play over and over again and actually had a plan to set up play action, misdirection, and running different things post snap to confuse the defense. I do not like what I hear about the scheme and Brady's play calling.
  14. Why in the hell do we want Texans to win? We want to face the number one defense in the playoffs after seeing Josh Allen getting sacked 8 times? Give us the Chiefs. KC Chiefs elimination should be coming from us if we face each other in the playoffs.
  15. Do you get sad that nobody responds to your bat ***** crazy posts? I get a good laugh at you talking to yourself.
  16. Higgins and Hendrickson both out this week. This is not some unstoppable juggernaut coming into Highmark…
  17. Everyone's watching, to see what you will do Everyone's looking at you, oh Everyone's wondering, will you come out tonight Everyone's trying to get it right, get it right Everybody's working for the weekend Everybody wants a new romance Everybody's goin' off the deep end Everybody needs a second chance, oh You want a piece of my heart You better start from the start You wanna be in the show Come on baby let's go
  18. https://hsph.harvard.edu/news/opioids-doctors-prescriptions-payments/ all too familiar a problem.
  19. Cook is obviously having another incredible season (and I think PFF's grades align with that too if I remember right), but some of the holes Cook was hitting this week were so big even you and I would have gained yards lol. Mentioned it earlier in the thread, but PFF probably punished him pretty hard for forcing his own fumble and aside from having insane volume, his numbers were pretty pedestrian; I wouldn't be surprised if things like his rushing yards over expected was pretty low, and PFF is really looking for the ability to create yards that aren't blocked for you by making difficult reads or forcing missed tackles and I know he didn't really do the latter this week.
  20. He has done it against good Defenses. Cleveland he sliced and diced and got hammered by Garrett for 5 sacks in that game.. The Bills do have a good D and he played well against the. The first time.. Tampa D isn’t bad and he lit them up.. Again this year the AFC is just weird with most teams struggling or just outright bad.
  21. Tua is abysmal playing in the cold.
  22. The one thing I am not looking forward to this Sunday night is listening to Collingsworth drool over Mahomes for the entire game like he always does.
  23. Agree, except I would add the Ravens in Baltimore would be a bad matchup for us, that would scare the Hell out of me!
  24. Not as weak, demented or incompetent as the last guy. So it's an improvement right?
