I was at a friend’s today and he was telling me about a car guy he just met. He went to his showroom and saw Bentley's and Lamborghini’s. The guy told him a lot of his clients were professional athletes (especially MLB) and rappers. He had some college players with NIL money, and he’s just started getting some high school kids who are cashing in. It’s a brave new world out there.

Why is everyone about Lane Kiffin?
GASabresIUFan replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in College Football
Most coaches haven’t one a Championship. Only 4 active coaches have a championship; Smart (2), Sweeney (2), Mack Brown and Ryan Day. Brown won his 20 years ago. That’s a pretty short list. He did win championships as a OC at Bama. He’s in demand because he wins wherever he goes. He turned Ole Miss into a consistent winner, something they have never gone. Frankly, I think he is a jerk but so are most coaches. -

Im expecting an ultra-conservative game-plan by both coaches with maybe some grey zone 4th down attempts. A lot of waiting for the other team to make a mistake. could be wrong but that’s what I’m expecting. -
Brown, Dawkins, others out for Sunday
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the way Dawkins play has fallen off a cliff, it could be addition by subtraction at this point, and the good thing for Bernard is he can be out of position and miss tackles from the bench too. At the end of the day only two players on this team matter, everybody else are just interchangeable pieces for all of the wrong reasons- it’s not “solid depth” it’s more that all of the starters are backup quality players. -
For whatever reason it is a home/road issue. Bills are 5-1 at home and 2-3 on the road with the only two wins being over Justin Fields and Andy Dalton. They convert 50% of third downs at home, 36.4% on the road. Bills score a touchdown on 72% (4th) of red zone trips at home and 46% (t-25th) on the road. They average 32.5 ppg at home and 23.2 on the road. I could go on. So this will likely be a tougher game than it should and the Bengals game will be a shootout but has a very good chance of going our way.

Keon Coleman likely to return against Pittsburgh

I think Sammy Watkins is available. He should be nice and healthy since he hasnt played in a few years yet still young enough to be effective. -

It must be because the guy has never won a national championship as a HC. -

If we can figure out who the hell we are on offense, and we get at Oliver back on defense and we don’t lose anyone else…. We could easily still go to the Super Bowl.

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers
billsbackto81 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably referring to the "snowball" effect. We lose this game and we're 7-5. Then we have the Bengals with Burrow back, NE and Philly still on deck. With the roster looking the way it is with injuries and lack of legitimate talent the playoffs are not a given right now. -
They have a lot of NIL money 👀

Should the league change how it schedules games?
Augie replied to McMuffin's topic in The Stadium Wall
More bye weeks means more weeks of product to sell, and they want as many weeks as possible. I don’t see a week with zero product available to the people looking for their football fix. EDIT: And that goes for the NFL’s gambling partners, as well. . -
Keon Coleman likely to return against Pittsburgh
Success replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will choose to hold out hope for Keon. Imagine if he comes out & has a big day tomorrow? It would give all of us renewed optimism for the rest of the season. It could happen.
